I have been having a completely fantastic day so far! Even though the rain has been on and off like turning on a tap, I was able to meet up get to the gym, do a workout, meet up with a Lia Sophia Representative to purchase a ring, and even go to the grocery store and pick up a few things.
This morning I was awakened by my phone going off at 8:30 am and I just want to say, "Thanks Cassandra!" I got out of bed, came downstairs, and started to make my breakfast. When I finished, I rested for about 30 min and headed off to the gym for 11am.
As I got to the gym, I went upstairs to the ladies only room with the intention of doing my full hour while splitting it up between doing the eliptical and the treadmill. What really wound up happening was I spent 45 min on the treadmill total.
I started off on a 3.0 speed for a minute and then bumped it up to a 4.4 to do a jog. I did this alternating between the 2 for about 20 min and then I started to slowly increase the incline. At times I would do a 2 or 3 min jog and by the time I was ready to hit the cool down button, with a minute and a half left, I increased the incline to a 4.5 and did a jog at a 4.4 until I was done. I felt so good afterwards and I really wanted to get on the eliptical but, as I looked at the time, I had to go. I looked at the workout summary and in 45 min I had burned 253 calories. Nice!
When I did weigh in this morning, I felt an amazing amount of relief. I have finally reached my goal of 185lbs! I know I was already here once, but it was definitely not an accurate weigh in at that time and this time I know it's real because it has been more the gradual pace of reaching it like it has been all along. I have decided to keep going a bit until July 20th at least and my new goal until then is to try and lose another 15 lbs. This will be a tough one to beat but, I have always said that I love a challenge and I am intent on doing it. So far, total weight loss is 79 lbs. Hopefully by the time I am done, I can lose a total of 100 and then I should be at the perfect weight and my body should actually look fairly decent. :)
Tomorrow and Tuesday I will probably not be going to the gym, unless it happens that I am able to get up fairly early in the morning in order to make it there. I will have to see how I am feeling. On Wednesday I have my next session with Jeremy and I am really hoping that it is as intense and wonderful as it was last week. I will have to make sure to let him know that I want it to become a little bit tougher each week.
I will be doing approximately 150 ab crunches, like I did last night. I will be trying to hold the plank for a minute today as yesterday I was only able to hold it for 45 seconds before my back made me quit and also do my stretching which is of course, always required. Maybe I will try to get in some pushups in on each of the yoga mat sessions just to get the upper body taken care of as well. Again, what a fantastic day!

Day 349
I know I say this quite a bit but, it is hard to believe that it has been 349 days since I came down this road. I am still amazed at how much I can handle, and I am also surprising myself every day as to how much I can actually take on now. I feel unbelievable and it can only get better from here on in. I have another 2 weeks to go and I will be at my year of embarking on the path of a healthy lifestyle.
I realize that this blog is fairly late, and I probably should have done it sooner but, I have been a little preoccupied with painting my nails, doing some shopping, and visiting with Jan. I really love being here and being able to do pretty much anything I want. I could do it anyways but, Jan and I do spend quite a bit of time together and it is very enjoyable.
I have been up since 4:45am, I came downstairs and made my breakfast and then I thought, maybe I will walk to the lrt today. As it got closer to the time to leave, I decided that I had way too much stuff to carry in order to walk and therefore, called a cab and made a pit stop at Timmie's. Once I got to Churchill station I realized that I didn't have my smokes with me and so, I dropped my stuff off at Sara's desk and booked it out to find a store that was open at 7am.
I did a speed walk for a half an hour downtown not finding any success and when I got back to work, I realized that I must have been really giving it because my legs were feeling a little on the wobbly side and I was almost huffing and puffing by the time I got back. I think it's time to quit the smoking. Maybe I will be able to go longer speed walking without the puffing.
On my 15 min break, I decided to take a walk to go to the smoke shop by work and again, did the speed walking. So maybe I didn't do the gym this morning but, I am pretty sure I got a good workout in. I didn't really have to stop for any lights and therefore, I was doing a speed walk for a total of 45min today.
After work, I had every intention of going to the gym after work, since I had packed all of my gym stuff with me and I was going to walk over from clareview. However, the weather had other plans for me and as I reached the Clareview platform, it started to pour rain and then hail the size of a pea. I gave Jan a call and asked if she wanted to go for supper at that point being 5pm and then I would go to the gym afterwards.
By the time we got home from supper though, I just really wasn't feeling up to going to the gym. My back was starting to seize up on me and it was just not going to be a long workout even if I did go. So, I just relaxed in my chair for a half an hour and then 45 min later I was headed out the door to go Walmart to do some shopping with Cassandra.
Once I got home again, it was too late to go to the gym, and to be honest, I still wasn't feeling up to it. So, I sat down to paint my nails and when I was done with them, got the yoga mat out to do my stretches. I did 4 of the normal stretches, held the plank for 47 seconds and continued on to do 60 ab crunches. I am still not feeling too good in the back but, I will be going to the gym tomorrow weather permitting.
I am excited about this weigh in, because I have kind of been keeping an eye on it. I am pretty sure that I have done well and we will just have to see what it says tomorrow. I will hopefully be going first thing in the morning to the gym as Jan and I do have some things that we need to get done tomorrow. The blog will be up in the afternoon at some point, depending of course what time we get everything done.

Day 348
Well, it has been a pretty acceptable day today. I was awake before 9am this morning and I was actually quite surprised that I was actually able to crawl out of bed. I am still pretty sore from Wednesdday's workout still but, it is getting a little bit better. The insides of my legs are pretty sore and my back is very bad but, it's not a bad hurt. It just means that I am supposed to be much better in the way of exercise and how I am eating.
I got to the gym around 11am and went upstairs to do a lower intensity workout on the treadmill other than doing a jog type workout. I started out at a 2.7 speed for 10 min and then increased it to a 3.0. By the time 15 min was done I had burned 66 calories and I then had to go to the bathroom. I came back to the treadmill and put it on a 3.0 for another 5 min and then decided that I should maybe go a little bit faster and try to get a higher intensity going. I increased it once more to a 3.2 and carried on until I hit the 15 minute mark. I increased the incline for the last 5 min and hit the cooldown button. By the time I was finished this round I had burned another 143 calories. So it wasn't that bad for the day totalling 200.
Once I finshed at the gym I had a few errands to run as it is payday and when I got home, I had my coffee, talked to my friend Cassandra on the phone for a few minutes and then was on my way to work. This time when I went to work, I did make sure that I had my ereader with me and then my team lead wanted to talk to me for a few minutes in regards to enrolling in the benefits.
After work, I ran over to Costco to pick up a couple pairs of pants. Unfortunately, they only had 1 color of pants that I wanted so I picked them up and grabbed a shirt as well. I am feeling a little bit overwhelmed at the moment because it has been a really long time since I have been able to shop in stores other than the plus size stores. When I was trying to find the pants that I was looking for, there was a lady there folding the clothes and putting them away. She asked me what size I was looking for and when I replied with 16, she said, no, you look like you should be in a 12. I was completely shocked that someone would think I was that small. And boy, does it feel good. That kind of thing only makes me want to keep going because when I am down to a 12 or a 14, and I will be, I know that I will look and more importantly feel completely amazing!
As tomorrow I am working from 8 - 4:30, I am unsure as to wether or not I will be getting into the gym. I will be doing my stretches, ab crunches and the plank tonight before bed, just like I did last night, and hopefully tomorrow I will be able to get in to the gym in the evening and try for a "last chance" workout, just like old times! :)

Day 345, 346 - Session
I was supposed to post the blog for yesterday last night but, I got a little caught up with trying to watch my Days of Our Lives that I have missed for the last 3 weeks. So, I guess I have to cram yesterday and today into a long and winded one today.
Yesterday before work, I went over to the gym to get a little bit of a workout done so that I didn't have as much to do after work. Unfortunately, going to the gym after work wasn't an option because of the fact that as it was, I was very hungry and with the weather being the way it was, really just wanted to come home and eat.
I did the treadmill for half an hour yesterday, burning a total of 200 calories. It wasn't that bad of a workout at all. I wound up starting off on a speed walk for 5 min on a 3 speed, and then did a jog for a minute on a 4.4. I reduced it back down to a 3 for 2 min and then did a 3 min jog back on the 4.4. I alternated for the next 10 minutes and then went to a speed walk of a 3.2 to finish off my 30 minutes. It wasn't much but, as I was running out of time and I was still going to be walking to the LRT, it was a pretty good workout.
I was up pretty late last night due to the fact that I kept hearing noises (which later turned out to be the cats messing around). I finally crawled out of bed at 9am and came downstairs to make my breakfast and get ready to head out to my session. I left fairly early because I didn't get my coffee in this morning and I thought that I would just sit at Tim Horton's and chill out before I would get my butt kicked.
As I walked in the doors, I started getting my money ready and as the next person was called forward finally, I realized it was Jeremy. We said hello, he went his way, and I headed outside to sit and drink my coffee and mentally prepare myself for what was about to come my way. I knew that he was going to give me a tough session and as I am sitting here writing this, my body is sure feeling the effects.
When we first started, he had me do maybe about 20 or 25 step ups with each leg and then as I was in a squat, pull a rope lifting about 25lbs towards me 12 times. I then had to do the step ups again and then this time with the rope I had to stand on the bosu ball and pull the rope towards me again. I was sent down and up the stairs 3 times, allowed to rest for a couple minutes and then right back into it again.
As I got back up the stairs for the third time, I noticed that the bosu ball was flipped upside down. I was expected to get into a pushup position holding onto the bosu ball and then bring each leg towards my chest 10 times. I was then handed a 12.5 lb dumbell and had to hold it straight above my head and walk across the gym and back on each arm. As I got to the other side of the gym Jeremy said "Whoever thinks Jeremy is the best trainer in the world raise your hand." I at this point made him laugh because I immediately lowered my arm.
We did the bosu knee drives again and then I had to go down and up the stairs 3 times again. We did the knee drives again and then 2 more times down and up the stairs. Once I got upstairs he had brought out a kettle bell and told me to rest for a couple minutes. I then had to swing the kettle bell 12 times between my legs and straight out in front of me and then we moved over to the TRX ropes where I had to do 12 forward lunges on each leg and following that, a 3 minute sprint on the bike. We repeated this set once more and finished with another 2 minute sprint on the bike.
I was told that I need to do 3 hours of cardio, and recommended that I get the stretches done when I get home today and continue those and core every day until our next session which is next Wednesday. He took it easy on me for the homework because next week is going to be a fairly busy week with work for me. I told him that it would be really hard for me to get to the gym but that I would try to make it at some poiint. It's kind of hard when you don't have a vehicle and it takes roughly an hour to walk to the gym and depending if you leave on time, an hour home.
It was an excellant session and I am going to make sure to let Jeremy know that I would like to have more sessions like that. Just because of the fact that we only do sessions weekly and I think it will remind me to keep up with my end of the bargain better.
Considering the fact that I don't work until 3 tomorrow or Friday, I will be going to the gym both days, hopefully earlier than I have been so that I can get a full hour in. Next week I have plans to at least go for a walk after work so that I can get at least some kind of cardio in. More tomorrow!
Yesterday before work, I went over to the gym to get a little bit of a workout done so that I didn't have as much to do after work. Day 344
I did wind up going to the gym yesterday. I woke up at 9am, had my breakfast and was out the door by 10:30am. I wound up not posting yesterday because by the time I got home I was pretty tired and only had enough energy to get my stretches done.
I walked to the gym yesterday and it took me roughly 45 min to get there with a stop in at Esso to see if I had any shifts available. Seeing that there were none, I headed on towards my destination. I was still pretty upset with Jeremy and I didn't really want to talk to him so I sat outside of Tim Horton's for awhile in hopes that he would be leaving the gym and going away for his lunch break.
Considering it is me that we are talking about, I definitely don't have luck for anything. I was checking out my dear Facebook and all of a sudden I hear my name. Darn, my plan didn't work, it was Jeremy. We talked for a few min and then he went to go in and get a coffee. I told him he could get one for me and gave him some money and away he went, happy as a duck. He handed me my coffee, asked how the weekend went, and of course as I talk to him I just can't stay mad at him. He's just that type of person that can just bring you out of just about anything.
I told him about my weekend, about my awesome time on Saturday night drink night, and he so kindly told me that punishment would come for the next session to teach me a lesson. Great. I accept it though because I know that I shouldn't be doing this. I still have a ways to go and I need to start getting my head back into the zone.
He left and went back to work and I sat for another 15 min just drinking my coffee and gearing myself up for the punishment I would be giving to myself for being so bad. I walked over, went upstairs and we set up another session for Wednesday.
I started off on the eliptical, I was on a level 6 for 10 min and never once let my speed drop down below a 5. I was feeling pretty good but at the same time, because I haven't been as dedicated recently I was unable to continue on further. So, I finished burning about 115 calories in that 10 min and carried over to the bike. I did a level 12 for a min here and then a level 4. Back up to a level 8 and dropped it once more to the 4. I went up the last time for a level 6 and kept it there for the remainder of my 10 min here. In total I wound up burning roughly about 200 calories in a 20 min span. That doesn't include what I burned on my walk. I did pretty good I figure.
I carried on to work and did my 4 hours shift. While I was at work I was thinking, oh boy, Jeremy was probably pretty disappointed in me for drinking 2 weeks in a row and probably didn't think that I was wanting to carry on with my journey. He is not a very confrontational guy, so he probably didn't want to make me angry by calling me on it. I don't know. But anyways, I was starting to think about the session on Wednesday and I was kind of curious as to what he was going to have me do. So, I texted him and told him I was a little scared for the session and asked him what I should be doing to prepare for it. His reply was lots of cardio and stretching.
Because I am the person I am, I asked him how much cardio he would like me to do and then I asked him if there was any chance of reducing the punishment with a coffee bribe. Guess what, it didn't work lol. I didn't get home until roughly 8pm and by the time I had finished have a small bite to eat for supper it was 8:30pm. So, I got the yoga mat out at 9 and did my stretches like a good girl. This was the first time that I have actually done them in quite a few days. It felt pretty good as I was doing them but, when I got up it wasn't quite so nice. I will be doing them from now on every day. :)
I will be trying to hit the gym before work today and that is why I decided to do the blog for yesterday now. I was thinking I would maybe put them both together but, as my cardio homework is "lots" I am unsure how much of lots he wants me to do and will probably be going back to the gym tonight after work for a little bit. The blog will be up tonight for today before I go to bed. Session tomorrow at 12pm! Wish me luck! :)

Day 343 - Weigh in
I think after a night like last night, this really has to be the week to get back on track. I just don't get what is wrong with me. I think it is because I am finally feeling much better about the way that I look now, and the way that I feel and I know that it will just get better from here and I will feel way more amazing once I get some more of this weight off. I just have to get the weight off lol.
Last night was once again an epic fail in the no drinking law that I had placed on myself. I wound up getting hit on by not one but two lesbians, oh my word, and then some random guy wanted to give me a ride home and the majority of the time, that's not all they want to do. Anyways, there I was, having fun, chilling out, very inebriated, and when I got home, finally, I went straight to bed, no questions asked.
I woke up this morning at 7:30am, feeling not too bad hangover wise, considering the amount of water and coffee I drank last night I guess that was a good thing. I came downstairs, turned on the wii and found out that even though I was very, very bad in the last 2 weeks, I wound up losing a pound. So now I am down to 187lbs. 77 lbs lost, not too bad!
I still have not heard anything as to when my next session with Jeremy is. He still hasn't texted me and I am still very upset about that, and I do hope that I see him tomorrow because I will be having a chat with him about it. I am hoping to do my full hour before work, and then return home afterwards and have a more relaxing evening just sitting here, maybe reading a good book or something. Now that sounds more like a plan to me. Nice and short today, not much to tell, have a great day everyone and enjoy the rest of your Sunday!

Day 341
Ok, I know I am falling off of the wagon a little bit and I am unsure as to why and how to get back on. I am feeling really frustrated lately, not just with the weight loss, but with all sorts of other aspects of my life as well. From friends, to family, to the personal trainer, to work. It seems every single area of my little world has something going on, and I just don't know how to deal with it.
I won't go into specifics because, there really isn't much point. It just means that I need to figure out where I want to be, who I want to be associating myself with, and basically, what I am going to do. I am not eating properly anymore, because of the stress that I have put on myself and I don't know how to get back into the swing of things or even if I want to.
I have noticed in the last week that I just want to be left alone. I don't want to talk to anyone, in a sense, and it's really not like me. However, I guess that's just something that I need to work on.
I did go to the gym after work tonight. I was really hoping that I could get in, get my workout in, and not have to talk to Jeremy at all. I am a little upset with the way things are going with his personal training at the moment and maybe that is my fault because I have let him get away with so much thinking that he is a friend and I respect him and his thoughts a lot. I was lucky enough where he wasn't there and I was able to go upstairs and do a quick workout with no interruptions.
I did the treadmill for 30 min, burned 174 calories, and away I went home. I did do a jog for a few minutes but the majority of the time I only did a speed walk on a 3.2 and 0 incline. Considering the fact that I haven't been doing much in the way of exercise in the last week, I wasn't really up to finishing off a whole hour.
Once I got home, I was really feeling a little under the weather so I had not done my stretches or any of my core exercises. Now that I have been calming my emotions down, and after I have talked to my Dad for 30 min, I will be doing them before I go to bed.
I need to be up at 5am tomorrow to go to work, and I will be going out afterwards so I don't think I will be getting to the gym at any point. I will be going on Sunday after I have done the weigh in and then I think I can finally try to get myself back into the game next week. As I did so poorly this week, I am hoping that the weigh will be ok. I guess we will have to see.
