Day 112 - Session

For being completely tired this morning due to lack of sleep, I am sure in a great mood!  I was at the gym for 8:30am and raring to go!  I first got on the bike and did 12 min on there while playing a game of cribbage on my phone and then went over to the treadmill and did 13 min there again, playing my cribbage game.  I went into the bathroom and when I came out Jeremy asked me if we had a session today.  I confirmed that yes we did and that he had texted me back last night and asked to reschedule.  He didn't realize that I was the one he had texted and I just had to tease him of course.  He hadn't put my name in his phone and so while we started the workout that is what he did.

It was an awesome session today!  He started me off with step ups about a foot and a half off the ground and I had to do 12 on each leg and then do the rowing pulls.  I repeated this once and then had to do the stairs 2 times.  When I got back to the top I had to do the step ups again but this time with the 5lb dumbbells do a high punch with each arm at the top.  We did the rowing pulls one more time and then repeated this little circuit.

He then pulled down one of the big excersise balls and wanted me to sit on top and do ab crunches.  I told him there was no way I would do that and then he wanted me to try doing the plank on it.  I thought maybe I could do it and when I got down on my knees I just freaked out and I was like, no, I am not doing that.  He was going to hold the ball for me so that I could do it but, I just couldn't bring myself to do it.  So, we got the mat and did 25 ab crunches safely on the floor and then I held the plank for maybe about 20 - 25 seconds.  I then had to do walking luges while doing bicep curls with the 5lb dumbells across the gym and back and then the ab crunches and the plank a final time.

It really was a great workout and I am glad that we got to do it today.  Tomorrow I will be going to the doctor for 8:30 am and then babysitting Sophia again but, I will be going into the gym by 7 or 8 to purchase my next 24 sessions!  I am soooooooo excited to see what the next few months is going to bring me!  :)  Next blog will be up at around 9 or even as late as 10:30pm tomorrow night so make sure to watch for it!

Day 111 - weigh in

I woke up a little late today, actually alot late.  I crawled my lazy butt out of bed at 12pm!  The last few days have been pretty bad sleep wise.  Nikki is moving this weekend and I went over to help them out a little bit last night to set up some things and see the new place and didn`t get home until about 2:30 this morning.  However, I did do my stretches yesterday 2 times and I did go to the gym.

I got there at 7pm and since I am not allowed to use the treadmill, I decided I would go to the ladies only room and do the bike.  I started off at a level 4 and then gradually brought the intensity up to a 6 and sometimes an 8 at times.  I stayed on it for the whole hour which was surprising because that would be the longest I have been able to do the bike.  I`m quite happy with that and I wound up burning 312 calories!  Next time I do the bike I am hoping to start at a 6 and do the majority of it at an 8 or 10.  Little goals will make it better I think!  :)

Today however, I was going to go to the gym at 2 and I was on my way and I thought I would stop in at future shop to see what I could find for headphones for the ipod.  By the time I was done picking them out, I realized what time it was.  I decided that maybe I should just come home and do a workout here after work since I am off at 10 and I have the stuff here to do it.  So tonight after work, I will be sure to do at least my hour of cardio here at home.

So I stepped on the scale at 12 this afternoon and I was happy to see that the 238 boundry has finally been broken!  I am now down to 234lbs and that would mean I have lost 30lbs so far!  Only 10 more lbs to go and I will be on my next journey!  I am so excited to change my life around completely and start living the way I should have been long ago.  I am going to the gym in the morning and when I get back I will make sure to write the blog and put down my workout from tonight.

Day 109 - Session

I slept horribly last night.  I kept thinking about today's session and trying to think about what I was going to do and just couldn't sleep.  I tossed and turned all night.  However, I got up at 6am to get ready for my "last" session.  I took a cab today because I wasn't ready to go in time for when Jan was ready.  I got to esso, had my coffee and breakfast and then headed over to the gym.

I got there at 8:35 and started my warm up on the bike for a change.  My heels are still in a bit of pain so I figured my feet could use a break.  15 min later I looked at the clock and Jeremy still wasn't there.  I thought maybe he forgot about me.  Finally at 9 I went down to the locker room to get a piece of gum and when I came out he was finally there.  He forgot that we were starting early today and I teased him about needing a woman to keep his appointments on track.  He asked why I needed to start early and I told him that he needed to start early because he had a conference call at 10.  Ooops, he forgot about that too.  I laughed, shook my head at him and we got started.

While he got his shirt changed he had me start on the seated rows, doing 15 and then stairs 2 times.  I repeated this 2 more times and then I had to do a reverse lunge and while in the reverse lunge pull with the opposite arm, stand up, and repeat on each leg 12 times.  Then I had to do side lateral raises with the dumb bells and repeat these 2 more times.

Once we were finished there we went over to the rowing machine that works the whole body and had to do that for 5 min and then the eliptical for 10 min.  I finished off with the railing stretches and was on my way.

Jeremy had decided to give me a free session for next week and then I have finally made up my mind and will be getting another 24 sessions with him.  By the end of these new sessions I am pretty sure that I will be able to do it on my own and I won't need any more.  I am pretty sure that he still has some things to show me and some lessons to give so that is why I have decided to continue on.  Other than that, I will continue to go on my own 4 times a week and rest the one day.

Jeremy and I had set up an appointment for Tuesday morning at 9 but, at 11 this morning my doctor's office wound up calling and wants to set up an appointment with me to get my physical done and probably to discuss the results of the blood work, if there is anythhing to discuss.  I'm not sure when I am going to do that, but hopefully I can move my session for monday and then go to the doctor tuesday morning at 9 instead.  Hopefully.  We will see how it goes....

Day 108

I am feeling a lot better than I did yesterday.  I'm not a hundred percent convinced of what I should do yet but, I am leaning to more sessions.  I know I can do this on my own, I am definitely not disputing that.  But I need Jeremy's help for sure.  I just can't go into that gym and see him knowing that I have no more sessions.  Not yet.  Not after he promised me that he wanted to finish this with me.  So, tomorrow we are going to talk about it, and I am really hoping that I will have made my decision.  Work was pretty good today, my feet were definitely not as sore as they were yestereay.

I made a promise to myself that I would go to the gym after work and I did.  I may have only spent a total of 20 min there but, it was effective nonetheless.  I did the treadmill for 10 min on a 2 speed and 4.5 incline and then went over to the ladies only section and did the bike for 10 min.  As I was heading down the stairs I heard Jeremy call my name and he was teasing me about how long I had been there.  He said I was only there for 10 min and then asked if I was going downstairs to do some weight lifting.  I said no, that I had somewhere to be in a few minutes and that I would be doing some stuff when I got home.  We both laughed about it and said goodbye and that we would see each other in the morning.

I went to pick up Sara from the LRT and gave her a ride home and by the time I got back I really didn't want to do anything.  However, I pulled out the yoga mat and got down on the floor.  I did my 4 regular stretches that I normally do, 100 ab crunches, about a 20 second plank, and then the cobra.  I was going to do step ups but, I thought that maybe I should just leave it be as my feet still are a bit sore.  I am going to save my energy for tomorrow and give it all I've got so that I know my workout is the best that I have ever done in a session.  So that's it for tonight, and tomorrow I should have some good news to share.

Day 107 - rest day

I wasn't going to do a blog today but, I figured that I should probably put down a bit of how I'm feeling.  It has been a very frustrating and emotional day for me and the reasons why are for my own.  I will list some of them here but, there are others that I think are too personal for others to read.

I woke up this morning feeling pretty good mental wise and as I rolled over to get up, I realized that maybe I wasn't feeling quite as good as I thought.  I tried to stand up and the pain in my feet were so bad I had to take a second attempt to get out of bed and grab ahold of the dresser for support.  I was almost crying and I fought back the tears to try and keep myself in the right frame of mind but, sometimes it just doesn't happen that way.  Once I finally got into the shower I broke down and I knew that today wasn't going to be a good one.

I got to work almost 5 min late because it was a struggle to walk to work and I thought that I would be ok once I started moving around like normal.  Obviously because I have been working myself so hard in these last few weeks my body is trying to stay caught up to me but at the same time it is telling me I need to slow it down.  By the time I finished my shift I felt even worse than I was when I left and on the way home I called Jan and broke down again.  I knew that the road that I was embarking on was going to be a tough road.  I really didn't think it was going to be this hard.

I am so tired of being in pain.  First it was my back, now it's my feet and back at times but mainly my feet.  I don't know how much more of this I can take.  I am also feeling stressed out because my last session with Jeremy is on Friday and I really don't know if I can afford the sessions to have him continue our journey and it bothers me alot.  I feel that I still need some more guidance from him and I think he still has a lot more to teach me but at the same time, I have to try and figure out if it is really worth it or not.

If I do take the sessions, I will not be doing anything or seeing anyone, including my family until I am finished my journey.  I don't think I will be able to do that.  I am so family oriented that I need my family.  I miss them alot.  Not only will I have to put my family on hold for my health, but some of my friends will have to be put on hold as well.  They will have to come see me at my place because I just wont be able to go out for coffee as much as I have been or go out for lunch whenever I want or go take that extra trip to Walmart like I want.

If I don't take the sessions, I know I will feel like I have given up and lose that motivation and drive to keep me going.  I look forward to going to the gym twice a week and see Jeremy push me beyond the limits that I thought I could never get beyond.  He helps me in many ways, mentally and physically and I think that if I don't continue I might just give up.  I almost did today.

I told Jan today that I just felt like giving up on everything.  I just can't stand being tired all the time and in pain all the time and really just not having any time for myself.  Maybe that's being selfish, but sometimes in this life a person just has to do what's right for them.

I came to a decision tonight though,  my boss had mentioned to me today that he thinks maybe I might need a little bit of time off.  Just for me.  I think he may be right so, I am thinking that in March, I might just do that.  I am going to take some time off of work, off from babysitting, and maybe just take some time off from the gym to just take it easy and turn off the phone and do some r & r time for just me.

Tonight before bed, even though it was supposed to be a rest day, I did do my 4 regular stretches, and my ab crunches that I was supposed to do.  Tomorrow I am planning on going to the gym with Nikki for 8pm so the blog will not be up anytime before 10 or even 10:30.  I am going to talk to Jeremy about more sessions on Friday, and hopefully I will be able to reach a decision by then.

Day 106

Today was a great day indeed!  I was able to sleep in a little bit, which of course made me really happy.  I got up at 8am, had my shower and was out the door by 9.  I started walking towards the emergency medical center to go and get my blood work done and noticed that we have a place right across the street from my place!  So I went over only to find out that it was going to be an hour before I could get my blood taken.  Darn it!  So I turned around and left and then thought about it as I was walking.  To get to the other place it would take roughly about an hour to walk there, and more than most likely I would have to wait there as well.  So I turned back and sat there and waited.

Once I was done there, I started on my way to the gym and realized that since I don`t have my winter jacket on, it was pretty chilly out!  I crossed the street, dug into my purse, and grabbed the bus to clareview and then over to the gym.  I had hoped to make it by 12 because Nikki had a session at the same time and I wanted to pretty much see what she does in her sessions and do my own little workout at the same time on the treadmill.  As it turned out, I got to the gym 15 min late.

I started off on a 4.5 incline and a 2.4 speed and fluctuated between 2.4 and 2.8 speed for 45 min.  My incline fluctuated as well between a 4.5 and 12.  I wound up burning 350 calories in the 45 min though so that`s not too bad.  Once done, Nikki and I started walking over to Esso as I was meeting my other friend Cassandra for coffee there.  We had a smoke together and then Nikki had to leave because she had to be home for Sophia.

Cassandra and I visited for maybe about 45 min and then we walked towards her place and waited for the bus with me.  I didn`t make it home until about 3pm and boy oh boy did I ever speed walk for roughly about a block!  It was only maybe 5 - 7 minutes but still, it could`ve been at least a 3.1 on the treadmill speed.

Once home, I sat and played on the computer for a bit and then when Jan got home at 4, I started my stretches.  I layed on my back and pointed my toes, and reached high above my head and held it for 45 sec.  I went right into 15 ab crunches and then put my right ankle on my left knee and stretched that leg, 15 more ab crunches, then stretched the other leg.  When I finished that stretch I did 15 more ab crunches and then went into the one where you grab your left leg with your right hand and pull over.  Before I did the other side I did another 15 ab crunches, and then after.  I finished off with sitting up and reaching to my toes with one leg bent against the opposite knee and then did the other side.

I do have to do laundry tonight so I will be doing stairs as well this evening.  I`m hoping before bed I can get at least 21 sets of stairs in, which would be the equivalent of 7 sets of stairs at the gym.  Maybe....

Have a good night everyone!  Tomorrow is rest day so no blog but I will be posting around 10 or 10:30 on thursday.

Day 105 - session

I'm not sure why but, I am in a marvelous mood today!  I was up, showered and ready to go by 7am to give Jan a ride to the lrt.  I was thinking it would be a good idea for me to have the car today so that I didn't have to eat anything from tim hortons before my workout as I would have been there almost an hour and a half early.  So, I dropped off Jan and came home, made myself 2 eggs, 2 pieces of turkey bacon, and two pieces of toast with a half slice of cheese on each and had my coffee.  I played my games until it was time to leave and then was on my way.

I made my way upstairs to the bikes and started on there for 3 min on a level 6 and then figured I really didn't want to do anymore on there so I headed to the treadmill and did 6 min on a 2.4 speed and a 7.5 incline until Jeremy came to get me.  This time I didn't even see him come in, so he kind of surprised me when I turned around and he was already there waiting for me.

He started me off doing lunges on the bonsi ball about 15 or 20 times on each leg, went over to the stairs and did 15 step ups for each leg there and then repeated both 2 more times.  On the second time around for the lunges I had to hold the 10 lb dumb bells out to the side while I was doing them which made it a bit more difficult to do.

From there we went over to the other side where I had to take one of the dumb bells and do a squat while reaching between my legs and then bringing my feet together raise it above my head 12 times on each arm, did 10 push ups, and then the stairs 2 times.  I had to repeat this another 2 times and then I got to have my second break.

We then walked over to the ladies room and I had to do the leg press with 70lb weights 10 times and then lay down on one of the benches on my back and do 10 bench presses with the 10 lb dumb bells.  Then back to the leg press where I had to lift 90lbs this time 10 times and repeat the bench presses.  Finally I did the stairs 2 more times and then had to do a 10 min cool down on the treadmill.

Throughout the workout, Jeremy kept asking me what my plans were and when I said I don't know each time he suggested coming back to the gym tonight for part of my cardio homework.  LOL

So, I guess tonight I'm going back to the gym.  I have to do 3 hours of cardio before friday morning as well as 5 min of core every day and 10 min of stretches every day as well.  He keeps upping the homework on me!  LOL

It's ok though because I can do it, and I am going to do it too.  No excuses for this chickie poo!  Anyways, have a great day everyone!

Day 104 - weigh in

Today was a pretty good day considering the fact that I had to work.  I was awake at 8 this morning and got to the gym around 9:30 to do my homework for the weekend.  I am really starting to hate Saturdays because I am usually working 10-6 and I can`t go to the gym in the morning like I used to or go after work either because the gym opens at 8 and closes at 8.  Kind of makes it a little frustrating to get there.  I had planned on doing my own little workout at home but, it was kind of spoiled because Jan`s brother was here until he had to pick Shawn up from work at 9 and then by the time the supper dishes were done, it was 10pm and I was not about to do a workout at that time.  So, I got down on the yoga mat, did my usual 4 stretches with 10 ab crunches in between each one, and called it a night.  So it`s not like I didn`t do anything, just didn`t get my cardio in there.  Oh well.

My homework was supposed to be an hour and a half on the bike doing intervals so I put my stuff in the locker and headed upstairs to the bikes.  I managed to do 45 min straight doing the intervals on level 8 for 2 min at a fast speed and then bumping it down to a level 4 most times for 1 min at a lower speed or level 1.  I must be getting better at the bike because that was the longest that I have been on it to date.  I came home and was going to do my own workout later on in the afternoon but, after lunch I was so tired that I just went for a nap instead.  So here I am, at home from work, and I will be doing my stretches before bed again. with 15 ab crunches in between each one this time.

When I stepped on the scale this morning, I had to do some recalculating.  I somehow messed myself up on how much weight I have lost to date.  So far it has been a total of 26 lbs and this past week, I have gone down 3 lbs making my weight at 238.

I'm pretty happy with that, only 14 more lbs to go and I'll be kicking the smoking habit to the curb!  Hopefully it will be quick in losing the weight.  I am going to start trying to work out just a little bit longer when I go on my own, or do double workouts.  The harder I try, the more I will lose I'm sure!  Anyways, it is getting pretty late and as I have to be up at 5:30 in the morning to catch a ride to the gym, I better get to bed.  I hope everyone that reads this will have a fantastic day!

Day 102 - session

I surprised myself this morning by getting up at 6:30 am.  I was awake at 5:30 but got up at 6:30.  Meh, no biggie.  I still had plenty of time to get to my workout this morning.  I got dressed, took out the recycle for Jan and had my morning smoke before we headed on our way.  I got to the esso at about 7:30 and enjoyed my coffee until Nikki and Matt came to meet up with me and share their story of her session.  Sounds like she had an effective one as well!

i got over to the gym at 8:30am and Nikki's trainer was at the front desk.  He asked if I was training with Jeremy today and I said yes.  He was surprised and said that Jeremy told him yesterday that he wasn't coming.  For about 20 min I kept thinking about our last session and racking my brain because maybe I got the days mixed up.  But then I thought, oh well, if he doesn't come at 9 I will do my own workout and then text him later to set up our last 2 sessions for next week.

I put my stuff in the locker and headed upstairs, I started towards the treadmill and then thought, no, I think I'm gonna do the bike this morning for my warmup.  Good thing I did!  Jeremy walked it at his usual time of 9:05 and we got to work right away.

I started off doing reverse lunges but as I went down into the lunge I had to cross my right leg behind the left one as far as I could go and then repeat 12 times.  I then had to take the 4kg medicine ball and walking from the TRX ropes with the ball held over my head to the mirror and back and then throw the medicine ball down and catch it 15 times.  I repeated this circuit twice more but the last time walking across the gym I had to do the walking lunges with the medicine ball held over my head.

From there he set up the step ups board and I had to do 8 step ups on each leg while doing a bicep curl and then raising the 7.5 lb dumbells above my head.  I then had to do lunges and while holding the lunge, I had my arms stretched out to the sides and had to move the arms in small circles 15 times forward on one leg and then backwards on the other.  I repeated this little circuit 2 more times and then he had me straddle the step up board and do 10 step ups from the side.  It was kind of difficult to do, but I managed to do it!

Finally he set up a mat under the TRX ropes and I had to do 25 ab crunches with the TRX ropes and then getting up on my elbows, had to raise my legs and do kind of like a bicycle motion with my legs as long as I could.  It was hard for me to do because I am not used to keeping my legs suspended in the air but, I managed to do it.  We repeated this one more time and then he moved me to the treadmill and put me on a 15 incline and a 2.4 speed and then upped the speed for about 30 seconds to a 2.8.  He dropped the incline to a 10 and then put me up to a 3 speed for about another 30 seconds and then dropped my speed again back to a 2.4.  Finally I did a cool down and he gave me my homework.  I have to do an hour and a half of cardio on the bike doing intervals and stretching every day.  I told him that I could handle that and was on my way.

I feel good right now, of course, I always feel good after my workouts and I think I will be doing just a little bit more before I go to work today.  I definitely have to do my stretches so I think I will incorporate some ab crunches in there and then maybe I will try the plank and of course my normal stretches.  My next session is Monday morning at 9 but I will be going to the gym at some point tomorrow and of course sunday as well!  :)

Happy happy day today!

Day 100

Finally!  100 days is here and I haven't died yet!  At first when I started down this road I thought I would never stick to this journey.  I honestly didn't think that I was going to make it this far.  But I have, and I am still as determined as ever to keep going.  With the  amount of hard work I have put in, I am still pretty sore most days.  The good thing is that the pain is no longer a bad pain, but a good pain in the sense that the muscles are working and that they are adapting to the changes that I have made.

This morning I slept in just a little bit as it is my day off and the only day off I have really had in the last 3 weeks where I could just relax and not having to be somewhere at a specific time or rush to this place or rush to that place.  It was really a great day.  I crawled out of bed at 9:45am, jumped in the shower and called my cab for the morning.  I had an appointment at 10:45am to see a doctor and the appointment went very well.  I think I might have finally found a doctor that knows what they are doing and care.  So once I finished at the doctor I walked towards Matt and Nikki`s place for a total of half an hour.  We then all met up and went to subway for lunch and then went back to their place.  Nikki and I had made plans to go to the gym so we headed over for 2 because she had a session with her trainer scheduled and just as we got there it turned out he had to cancel.  We stayed anyways and got a half hour workout in.

We started off on the treadmill at a 2.5 speed and 4.5 incline and then reduced the incline and speed just a little bit and then increased it back up again until we finished at 15 min.  From there we went over and did the bike for 15 min as well and then decided to walk back to her place.  I was thinking of doing another workout tonight but, as I have finished my homework from Jeremy and I am going to the gym in the morning, I figured that I have done quite enough for one day.  I will be sure to do a more complete blog tomorrow as I do have plans to go to the gym pretty much when it opens and quite possibly go back in the evening as well.

Day 99 - session

After only 2 hours of sleep, I still got up and went to my session this morning.  I really didn't want to go, just wanted to sleep but, at the same time, I just wanted to get it over and done with.  I didn't really have enough time to make myself some breakfast this morning so I called a cab, and made it just in time to scarf down something quick to eat and get over to the gym.

I did 5 min on a 2.4 speed 0 incline for my warm up and then Jeremy came to get me.  I barely even noticed he was walking up to me at that time but I looked up and just caught hin coming over to get me.  I started off doing reverse lunges on the TRX ropes 15 times on each leg and then roughly about 15 bicep curls with the 10lb dumb bells.  Repeated that and then we went over to a long bar and using the resistance bands attached to the bar, do 12 trunk pulls on each arm, walking lunges all the way across the gym and back, 12 more trunk pulls and then side lunges across the gym and back.

Then we moved over to the other area by the stairs and I had to sit down on the bench and stand up 8 times and on the 8th way down to sitting position hold it as long as I could and then go down and up the stairs twice.  I had to repeat this again and then off to the bike for a 3 min sprint on a level 12.  I had to do the squats once more, then the stairs twice and then I was to use the railing and do the cross body stretch on each arm.  There may have been a couple more excersises that I may have forgotten as it has been quite a few hours since my session this morning but, that's all I can remember for now.

I asked Jeremy what my homework was and I was told that I have to do 2 hours of cardio and stretches, however, in between each of the stretches, I have to do 10 ab crunches.  I told him that that was easy homework and told him that I would do 20 ab crunches instead.  He chuckled a little bit and wished me luck on that and then told me do a cool down and then I was done.  I said ok and headed down the stairs.  He asked me what I was doing and I said, doing my cool down, I had to go to timmie's get a coffee and come back to meet matt so he could pick me up.  He laughed again and said that was what he was doing and told me to have a good day.  :)

Tonight is biggest loser night and I am so excited because Nikki is going to meet me at the gym for another hour long session and then we are going to come back here and in between the commercials we are going to do our stretching :)

Tomorrow I have 2 doctor appointments set up but, I am hoping to get some gym time in.  I am going to try and do the eliptical for at least a half an hour from now on each time I go in and the treadmill for half an hour.  Hopefully this will help me with conquering that eliptical.  Well, that is it from me for now, my next blog will be up tomorrow afternoon sometime :)

Day 98 - weigh in

Since I wasn't feeling good yesterday, I didn't go to the gym at all.  I woke up feeling groggy, grumpy, a little sick to my stomach and just plain didn't want to go.  I thought that maybe I would go a bit later but, I still didn't feel up to it.  I weighed myself and that's it.

Once I stepped on the scale I guess it kind of frustrated me.  I gained a pound and I'm definitely not happy about that.  I am starting to slip I notice.  I'm not as enthusiastic and I'm definitely not trying half as hard as I could be to eat healthier.  I am stuck in a rut right now and not sure how to get out.

Today I am kind of in the same mind frame.  I'm still frustrated as heck and I just can't seem to get motivated.  However, I did do a workout today even though I didn't go to the gym again.  I started off with 15 step ups on each leg and then grabbing my 5lb medicine ball I did 12 squats while touching the ball to the floor with one hand and then standing up and reaching above my head.  I did the other side 12 times and then I got down on the mat and did 20 ab crunches, my spinal extension stretch, 10 pushups (girl) the plank for 5 seconds, and then held the cobra for 45 seconds.  I then took a quick drink and had to stop to feed Sophia her lunch, change her diaper, and then put her in the jumper.

I then did another 20 step ups with each leg, with my arms stretched out in front of me and holding the medicine ball, took one step to the right and reached up to the right with both hands and repeated on the left.  Each side was done 12 times and then I went up and down the stairs 2 times.  Back to the yoga mat where I did another 20 ab crunches and this time did the other stretch with my ankle on the knee and then had a drink.  I did another 20 step ups and then with each arm reached down and touched the opposite toe 12 times.  Sophia was still a little cranky so I had to stop and help her out a little bit and now she is having a nap.  I am hoping that when I get home from work tonight I will be able to finish what I started because I am still not really satisfied with what I have done and feel that I need to be satisfied.  Tomorrow is my session with Jeremy and although I am looking forward to it, I am not all at the same time.

Day 96

Today was very interesting indeed.  After my session yesterday I felt like I wasn't really satisfied and that maybe I should've done more.  However, today is another story.  I am definitely feeling yesterday's workout in the legs, center back, and a little bit in the arms.  So I am to assume that yesterday's workout was actually pretty good.  I wasn't able to go to the gym this morning like any normal Saturday, so I opted to go after work today with Nikki.  She met me at work at 4 and then we headed back to my place so that I could change my shirt and then we walked to the gym.  Both of us were pretty sore from our sessions yesterday so it did take a little bit longer to get there.

We arrived 45 min later and I started on the eliptical because my homework this weekend was that I was forbidden to do the treadmill but I had to do the eliptical for an hour and forty five minutes before my next session on Tuesday.

Since the eliptical and I have so many issues with each other, today was no exception.  I was however able to go 20 min on it burning 200 calories.  Unfortunately every 30 seconds to a minute I had to stop for a few seconds before carrying on because my right leg was giving me trouble.  However, I pushed through and finished it.

I got home and rested for a few minutes (probably more like an hour lol) and decided to get the stretches started.  I pulled out the yoga mat and got down on the floor.  I held my hands above my head and reached as far as I could and pointed my toes and held on for a minute.  I then grabbed my left leg and pulled it across my body to the right, held for a minute and then did the other side.  I then put my right ankle on my left knee and brought my left leg up towards my chest and repeated on the other side.  Each side was held for a minute and then sitting up I put my right foot against the left knee and reached forward to grab my left foot.  I did each side again, holding for one minute and then got down on my stomach to do the cobra stretch for a minute as well.

I then tried to do the plank but I wasn't very successful with that, I was only able to hold it for a few seconds.  I then did 50 ab crunches and put the yoga mat away.  I went over to the stairs and did 20 calf stretches, and then did the cross body stretch on the railing and then the double arm stretch as well for good measure.  I am feeling quite satisfied now but, I'm sure my back will be disagreeing with me by morning.

Tomorrow morning Nikki and I are hopefully meeting at the gym at 9 for another session of that silly eliptical.  I'm hoping to hit 30 min whether or not I have to stop for a few seconds before going on.  I would really like to be able to hit my goal of at least completing my homework but, it is going to be touch I am sure.  It is also weigh in day tomorrow so hopefully I have some good numbers to share.  I usually keep an eye on my weight throughout the week but this week I decided not to put myself through the agony of watching it go up and down and am now waiting, like the rest of you to find out the results!

Day 95 - session

I was awake at 5 this morning and feeling nice and refreshed even though I didn't sleep good.  Again.  Seems like every time I have a session I somehow think I'm going to sleep in and miss the appointment so I don't sleep good.  Oh well.  I got up after having a cuddle session with Charlie for half an hour and came downstairs to make my breakfast.  I had 2 eggs with 2 strips of turkey bacon and for fruit I had about a handful of blueberries, 10 grapes, and about 10 raspberries.  I jumped in the shower and was ready to help Jan take the garbage to the curb and we headed off to Clareview.  I walked over to the Esso by the gym and got myself a coffee and relaxed until Nikiki and Matt met me for a smoke once she was done her session.  We chatted for awhile and then I headed over to the gym to get my warm up started.

I did the treadmill for 15 min on a 2 speed and 0 incline and then went over to the stairs and did a calf stretch on each leg and realized I still had about 10 min to go before Jeremy would come to get me.  So I decided to get on the bike and did that for 6 min and then we got started.

He brought over a cloth disc type thing and threw it on the floor and I had to step on it with one foot and kind of slide it back so that I was in a lunge and then slide it back to a standing position and then slide it to the side kind of in a squat.  I did this 12 times on each leg and then I was given the 5lb medicine ball.  I had to do a squat with it in both hands, reached down and touch the floor and then standing up, raise the ball above my head 12 times.  Then I did 10 pushups and had a quick drink and then repeated all of it again.  Took a break and then repeated one more time.

From there, he gave me a different medicine ball and had me walk from one side of the gym to the other back and forth with it held above my head, do walking lunges across the gym and then down and up the stairs once.  I had to keep asking him about the stairs because normally he gets me to do it twice.  So we did this one more time and then we moved over to do trunk pulls.  I did this about 20 times but this time I had to stand in front of the pulley rope and go from side to side.  He then brought over the smallest kettle bell and I had to hold it with one arm and kind of do a dead weight lift on each arm 12 times.  Once we were done here we went on the eliptical for 3 min and then I was done.

It doesn't seem like we did alot today for variety but, I feel pretty good regardless.  I may have left something out but right now my brain is just not working right.  I think I may have a nap when Sophia has one today.  :)

Day 94

This morning I woke up with the mentality that I was going to change a few things.  For the past 3 weeks I've noticed myself slowly slipping on my eating habits and stepping up in the workouts.  Unfortunately, this has caused my weight loss to fluctuate at the same weight and I'm not sure I am liking the idea.  So, I have decided that I am going to log my food into my workout days as well so that I can see what or where I am going wrong.

So, I decided this morning to make 2 eggs, 2 pieces of turkey bacon, and an orange with a coffee for breakfast, a sandwich with whole wheat bread, made of a tiny bit of mayo, ham, tomato and cheese for lunch and then 1/2 cup of snap peas, beans and a half of a green pepper and yellow pepper for lunch.  Quite honestly, I was going to make myself a chicken ceasar salad for supper tonight but, I am really not hungry.  I think I've had enough to eat.

Considering the fact that it is 830 at night, I may just choose to have a few grapes or something else in that nature to tide me over until morning.

Work went exceptionally well today, I worked with Jamie and most times when I work with him he sends me for a break alot.  Today was definitely no exception to to any other day.  So I figured that I should go to the gym tonight because I wanted to burn off the built up energy that I had stored in me for the entire day and I did just that!

Like normal, I did only the treadmill today but, it went very well and I did way better today than I have in a long time.  Since before I was sick in fact.  I started off at a 2.6 speed and a 9 incline for 5 min and then dropped the incline down to a 2.5 and continued on for 10 min at a 2.8 speed.  I kept bumping up the speed and then incline slowly and eventually I did hit a 3.1 speed and a 6.5 incline for 4 min.  I kept up with increasing the incline and speed and by the time I was at the end of my hour I had burned a total of 580 calories!  Definitely more than what I ate today and definitely the most I have burned thus far!

Before I go to bed tonight I must do my stretches so I will be doing my usual 4 and hopefully I will be able to get in some ab crunches as well.  Tomorrow is my session with Jeremy at 9am and I can't wait for it!  I am going to try my hardest to do everything he asks without too many breaks and just try to bring my intensity up just a little bit.  My blog for tomorrow should be up by around 1.  No promises though as I am babysitting Sophia for Nikki and Matt and you know how babies are!  :)

Day 92

What a perfect day so far!  I feel so good today and even though I didn't get much sleep last night, I still feel pretty refreshed!  I didn't get to bed until around 1:30am considering the fact that I wanted to be up at 5, but I was still up in plenty of time to catch a ride with Jan to the gym this morning for my session at 8.

I was on the treadmill for 10 min when Jeremy came over and got me to start and quite honestly, I think it was one of the best workouts ever!  We walked over to the benches where Jeremy handed me a 7.5lb barbell and I had to squat with the barbell at my shoulders, touch the floor with it and then stand up and reach above my head with it 12 times on each arm.  I then had to go over to the stairs and with one leg on the stairs and one on the floor, standing sideways, I had to do 12 squats on each side and then sitting on the bench, do 12 bicep curls and then repeat all three.

We moved over to the other side of the gym and I had to go down and up the stairs twice and then I had to do weight lifting that is kind of hard to explain so I won't and then a 3 min sprint on the bike.  Repeated all three again and then I was able to rest.  We then went downstairs and I had to kneel on the machine while lifting the other leg backwards and lifting weights 12 times on each leg and then down and up the stairs 2 times.  Repeated this again and then moved over to a different machine where I had to lay on my stomach with my legs in front of a bar and then with both legs lift the weights 12 times, a quick rest and then do it again.  Finally I did the stairs one and a half times ending up upstairs and then Jeremy had me do the eliptical for 3 min.  I may have missed something in there but, nevertheless, Jeremy asked me to do a cool down and then I was done for the day. I then responded with the fact that I had to walk home and would use that as my cool down so he said it was fine but that I should go over to Timmie's and get him a coffee for my cool down.  I laughed and told him that yes I could do that and that he didn't have to worry about giving me money for it.

I don't mind doing stuff like that for him because he is such a nice guy, and he has helped me so much.  I don't have to do it and he was just kidding but I did it anyways and then I went to Matt and Nikki's to find out that I didn't have to babysit today.  That was ok with me and so I stopped to visit for a little bit before walking the 30 min home.  With tongiht being Biggest Loser night, I am going to try something new and do the stairs during the commercials and see if that will help with a bigger number for my weight loss this Sunday!  :)

Anyways, I kind of rambled today but there ya have it guys!  Enjoy and tomorrow is again rest day so no blog tomorrow :)

Days 89, 90, 91 - weigh in

It's been a few days, I know.  I've been pretty busy and to be quite honest, not able to blog these last couple of days considering the work schedule that I have had.  On Saturday I had hoped to at least get to the gym at some point in the evening considering I was off of work at 5pm.  However, with a terrible day I really didn't feel up to it.  I decided that maybe I would just stay home and get some kind of workout done here.  By the time I had gone to bed, the only thing that I had managed to do was my regular stretches and I figured that at least I did that.

Sunday morning Nikki and I met at the gym and wound up only working out on the treadmill for half an hour before going home.  I did my stretches again before bed and that was pretty much it.  It really hasn't  been very exciting around here.  However, as yesterday was weigh in, I will tell you that I have lost an additional 2 lbs this week.  I am happy with that number, would have liked to seen a different one, but 2 is definitely good enough.  As long as I'm going down, it doesn't really matter. :)  So my total weight loss to date is 28lbs down.  12 more to go and I start my next life changing goal!

This morning I woke up in a little bit of pain in the back but, other than that, I was feeling pretty good.  I got dressed, slacked off for about an hour and then wound up heading to the gym.  Today I started on the treadmill at a 2.6 speed and a 6.5 incline for 5 min.  I then decreased the incline to a 2.5 and slowly increased the speed to a 3.1 for 5 minutes.  I did a cool down for 5 min and then jumped on the eliptical where I was able to go for 15 min total!  I was quite happy with that and wound up doing a few of the weight lifting that Jeremy has me doing and then called it a day.  I will be going for Thanksgiving dinner with my family today and then after supper I am planning on going for a 15 min walk to finish off my workout for the day.  Once I get home, I will be doing some stretching and then tomorrow morning I will have my session with Jeremy at 8am.  Oh boy, and the early days start again!  I am so glad I got to sleep in today!  :)  Bye for now everyone and Happy Thanksgiving!

Day 88 - session

What a workout this morning!  After having a really bad sleep last night, I was surprised to have as much energy as I did this morning in my session.  I was up at 730 and ready to go by 8.  I went to McDonalds and got a couple of breakfast burritos for a change and a coffe and then to Esso to get a pack of smokes.  I quickly ate my food and headed over to the gym.

I signed in and glanced at the piece of paper telling me how many sessions I have left and asked the girl to check it again because I thought I had less sessions than what was recorded.  She said no, it was right and to maybe check with Jeremy to see if it was correct.  So, I put my stuff away and went upstairs where he was sitting in his office waiting patiently for me to arrive.  I asked him to check out the amount of sessions and it turns out I have 6 more with him.  Only 3 weeks and then I have to decide if I can afford to pay for more sessions with him.  I sure hope I can.

I started off on the treadmill on a 4.5 incline and a 2.4 speed but soon realized that I had to take it just a little bit slower as my left knee was giving me problems this morning.  It almost felt like it was going to buckle from beneath me.  So I slowed it down to a 2 and continued on for 10 min.  By this time Jeremy had come over to wipe down my machine and I was ready to go.

We went over to the bench press and I had to sit on the end and then using 5lb barbells stand up and extend my arms over my head 10 times.  At this point, there was a guy that walked up to us and Jeremy introduced us.  Paul was shadowing Jeremy today and would be with us for the duration of our session.  Yay!  Two men to watch me struggle and sweat!  Just what I always wanted!  At that point I let Jeremy know about my left knee and he agreed to switch things up just a little bit so that I wasn't doing too much bending and lifting with my legs.  I then went over to the stairs and had to do 12 step ups with each leg, return to the bench press and this time lift 7.5lb barbells from sitting up over my head almost touching them together 12 times.  Back to the stairs to do step ups 12 times and then a calf stretch.  One more time for the barbells and then we went over to the other side of the gym.

On the other side I did the cross body stretch on the railing with each arm and then stretched with both arms.  Then I had to do 12 rowing pulls on each side lifting 25lbs and then down and up the stairs I went.  Back to the rowing pulls and stairs and then I had to do the walking lunges across the gym.  I was able to have a quick drink and break and then I had to do the trunk pulls 12 times on each side.  From there I did a 3 min sprint on the bike and then back to the trunk pulls again.  This time I had to lift 35lbs.  Back to the bike for another 3 min sprint and then we went over to the mats and I had to lay on my back and stretch as far as I could with my arms above my head and feet pointed the other direction.

I then had to do 15 ab crunches, roll over and do the plank and then rest.  I had counted 15 seconds as I held it, but Jeremy counted 13.  So I did the ab crunches another 15 times and did the plank again.  Only this time he timed me.  I was able to hold it for 18 seconds!  Longest so far that I have been able to hold it.  Jeremy then helped me with the next two stretches.  The first one was where I had to lay on my back and bring my left leg over my right one and he pulled it over to help me out by stretching those muscles out.  We repeated on the other side and because I wasn't saying anything he took it easy.  Apparently because I don't tell him when I'm hurting he watches my facial expressions and can tell when to stop pulling.  He then had me put my right ankle on my left knee and pushed towards me while holding my leg in place.  I then had to do the hamstring stretch on the machine and cool down.

It was an awesome session this morning and I am really happy with my determination today.  Although, as I sit here writing, I can feel my back tightening up and starting to hurt a bit.  So I'm sure when I go to work tonight my back won't be liking Jeremy at all.  My next session isn't until Tuesday at 8am as he is not working on Monday because of the holiday.  But, I will be working out everyday until then so the blog will be posted every day regardless.

Day 87

Today has been a pretty frustrating day in the way of work.  Again, we had nothing but problems with the new tills and to add to those problems, the debit transactions were unavailable in every Esso across Edmonton.  It's amazing how many people think it's the cashier's fault that the debit is not working.  I have been yelled at, and cursed at all day today!

For breakfast I had 2 pieces of whole wheat toast with peanut butter and jam on it and a coffee and then for lunch I had one of those lunchables without eating the chocolate bar.  Supper consisted of porkchops marinated in a bbq and catalina sauce with peppers, zucchini and carrots, onions and who knows what else for veggies.  It was very good!  After I had supper I did the cleanup, changed my shirt, and off I went to the gym.  I still had 3/4 of an hour to do for my cardio homework before tomorrow.

I put the incline on to a 4.5 and the speed on a 2.4 to start with and stayed om it for the first 30 min.  I then upped the incline to a 6.5 and increased the speed to a 2.6 for 15 min and then for the last 10 min increased the speed to a 2.8.  By the time I finished I had burned 501 calories and decided that I had better come home.  I stopped at Timmie's for a coffee and here I sit.  I still have to do my stretches tonight so I intend on doing that in a few minutes as soon as my coffee is finished.  I plan on doing my normal 4 stretches, 100 ab crunches, and hopefully the plank which I will try to hold for 15 seconds this time.  If I achieve this tonight, I will be completely satisfied!  Tomorrow is my session with Jeremy at 9 and then I will be watching Sophia for Nikki and Matt so I will try to get the blog up no later than 2.  Have a good night everyone!  :)

Day 85

Yes, it is late, and yes I did work out today.  I had full intentions to go the gym this morning but, as Mel, Norm and Sophia had come from Ontario to visit yesterday, I didn't get home until late and quite honestly, I just had no motivation this morning for anything.  I was too tired and just didn't really care today.

I did watch my eating habits however, I wasn't as bad as I could have been.  For breakfast I had 2 pieces of toast with 2 slices of tomato on each, a piece of cooked ham, and a piece of cheese on each.  Followed that by a coffee and I was ready to start my day of babysitting Nikki and Matt's Sophia.  Matt dropped her off at about 11 and it was so easy today because she spent about an hour jumping in her jumper and then started to get fussy so I tried feeding her and that didn't really seem to phase her because she was tired.  She fell asleep shortly after and wound up sleeping for 4 hours!  What an easy day!

For lunch I made up the leftovers of quinois, beans and 1 sausage chopped up and then followed that by a granola bar and the rest of my chocolate bar that has been sitting there for 3 weeks.  Relax people there was only a quarter left!  LOL

Nikki and I were planning on going to the gym at around 4 or 5 so when Matt came to pick up Sophia, Nikki had messaged me letting me know that she didn't know when she would be home as she was still working.  So I didn't think I was even gonna go to the gym.  I still had things of my own to do as we have a brand new till system going in to work and I have still not completed the course on how to use them.  Nikki wanted to know why I wasn't going so I explained to her why and then when I was done I thought to myself, no, you need to go because if the shoe was on the other foot, you would be really upset with her!

Jan was nice enough to give me a ride to the gym as she was going to Costco anyways and so I headed straight for the treadmill with my ereader and got to it.  I did a 2 speed and a 4.5 incline for 15 min and then upped the speed to 2.2 for 10.  From there I upped it to a 2.5 and left it there for another 15 min.  One more time I bumped it up to a 2.6 and lowered the incline to a 2.5.  For the last 5 min I slowly increased the speed so that my last 2 minutes was at a 2.8 and then did my cool down.  In an hour I burned about 430 calories.

Once I was finished, I went downstairs and saw Jeremy at the front counter smiling away at me and waving.  So I went and talked to him for a few min, grabbed my stuff out of the locker and called Jan to see where she was at.  She was still at Costco, just checking out and so I decided to walk from the gym over to Esso and then meet Jam and Merv there.  We had a hot dog for supper, and then I walked next door to home depot and waited there for them.  We finished up and came home to watch The Biggest Loser.

With the show finally over I decided that maybe it was a good time to have a smoke, do my stretches and go to bed.  After all, I would hate to have Jeremy disappointed in me for only doing half of my homework.  On the way outside I went to grab my jacket from the closet and saw the one Jan had bought about a month ago.  She didn't quite like it and gave it to me.  When I first put this jacket on, I couldn't even do it up.  The bottom button was about an inch away from the hole and there is no way that I was able to do it up.  So, for "shits and giggles" (excuse the language) I tried it on.

I was able to do that bottom button up!!!!!!!!!!!  It is still very very tight with that bottom button done up but the rest of it fits perfectly fine!  I couldn't believe it!  Right at this moment I am very emotional because for so long I have said, I'm gonna lose weight and I put it off.  And I am doing it now, I haven't given up yet.  I mean, 85 days, wow!

It has definitely not been a bed of roses that's for sure.  I have had some struggles, but just seeing different sized clothing fit is enough incentive for me to keep going.  My back still hurts, but not to the point where I can't move.  I am so grateful for alot of things in my life and I am so grateful that I have the support that I have.  You all know who you are and I love you very dearly.  Thanks for reading my blogs, and thank you so much for everything that you do!  :)

I finished off the evening with doing my 4 normal stretches that I do everytime.  I then did 30 normal ab crunches and rolled onto my tummy for the cobra stretch.  I held that for thirty seconds and then tried the plank.  I did it on my toes for 10 seconds this time!  The longest I have ever held it!  I then rolled to my back one more time and did 30 cross body ab crunches and called it a night.

Tomorrow is a rest day as I have been going strong since last wednesday and other than my stretches I will not be doing anytning.  Thursday evening I will be going to the gym after work as I am off at 5:30.  My blog should be up by 8 at the latest and then Friday is my next session with Jeremy.  Therefore, you get a day of rest from the reading and I will gladly return on Thursday for your daily "fix"!  Bye for now!

Day 84

I was a wee bit off to a slow start again this morning.  I woke up later than I wanted and wound up being a couple min late to the gym for my session.  I was lucky though in a way because Jan was still not feeling good and stayed home from work so I was able to take the car over.  As I headed down the street I realized that I forgot my water bottle and therefore had to stop at Esso to pick one up.  Darn it!  I had a quick smoke and noticed that Jeremy was there waiting for me to get started.  So I put my stuff in a locker and went up to the treadmill for 4 min.  He followed me upstairs and came to get me after my warmup and we got started right away.

The first thing he had me do was what he likes to call "trunk pulls."  Standing with your feet together you pull a rope with both arms extended straight out in front of you and pull across your body to the other side.  I did this 12 times and then had to do step ups on an approximately 24 inch step 10 times on each leg.  The back to the rope and this time I had to do a lunge and hold it while pulling the rope another 12 times on each arm.  I was able to have a quick rest and then we did all three over again for a second time.

From there he had me go to the other siide of the pulley ropes and pull a split rope while squatting and weighing 50lbs 12 times, go down and up the stairs 2 times and then a 3 min sprint on the bike not going under 90rpm.  I repeated this circuit one more time and then we went to the other side of the gym.

On the other side we did the double rope pull 15 times and then I had to walk and lunge to the other side of the gym and back and then repeat this as well.  He then had me using another machine that is very hard to describe but, what it does is basically the same thing as the railing for stretching out the back except for the fact that you are on your knees instead of standing.

After that we went downstairs and facing a machine with handles high above me I had to pull 55lbs down and then I got a quick rest and he upped the weight to 70lbs before I could protest, rest and do it one more time on the 70 lbs each time I had to do this 12 times.

He then told me to go upstairs and stretch the hamstrings and do the flexibility machine for my cool down and then proceeded to give me my homework.  I am supposed to do an hour and three quarters of cardio and stretches every day until I see him friday at 9am again.

This workout was pretty good although, my lower back is pretty sore at the moment and since I am watching Sophia today, it is not much more likely that it will improve too much.  My legs are feeling ok right now but I'm sure that by tomorrow they will be feeling it.  Tomorrow I am hoping to go to the gym once again in the morning and then wednesday will be a rest day other than the stretches.  Hopefully this week will be really good in the way of my weigh in on Sunday as I haven't really seen any good numbers or good progress for 3 weeks now.  Who knows?  Maybe...

Day 83 - Weigh in

I've been up since 7 this morning and quite honesly, I feel that I have a had a fantastic workout thus far!  I made it to the gym for 8:30, an hour and a half later than I would have liked, but I still made it.  I got my ereader ready and got on the treadmill and started off at a 2 speed and a 2.5 incline and then 10 min in I upped the speed to a 2.4 and increased the incline to a 4.5.  I kept on that for the next 20 min and then called it quits for the day, at the gym anyways.

I got home with my coffee from McDonald's and the roomie's breakfast and settled down to relax for a bit and drink it and then went downstairs and started the next half hour of my workout.  I started off with the 5lb medicine ball and holding it with both hands stepped over to the left and reached down towards that leg.  I then put my feet together and reached up and over to the other side above my right shoulder and repeated to the other side.  I did this 10 times on each side and then did 50 step ups on the new aerobic steps I bought a few weeks ago.  After those I pulled out the yoga mat and got down and did the plank for 5 seconds on my toes and then did the cobra stretch.  I then tried to do the plank from my toes again but was unsuccessful so I just did it from the knees for 10 seconds.

Next I laid on my back and pulled my left leg over to the right side to stretch out the back some more and then repeated the other side.  Moving on I put my right ankle on my left knee and stretched out the hamstrings a bit on each leg and then did 20 normal ab crunches followed by 20 crossbody ab crunches.  Sitting up I put my right leg flat against my left knee on leaned forward holding the stretch for about 30 seconds and did the other leg and then both legs at the same time.  I figured that this was pretty good for a small half hour workout and then made my way up the stairs.  On the way up I did 25 calf stretches with my feet hanging off the stairs and went up on my tip toes and then once I got up to the main floor I did the crossbody stretch on each arm and then both at the same time on the railing upstairs.

For breakfast I had a bowl of Special K with 4 strawberries sliced and mixed those with about 20 small blueberries.  For lunch I am having a ham sandwich with tomato and cheese on whole wheat bread and then for supper I am going to cut up some fruit and veggies.  All and all it has been a pretty darn good day so far and it's only 12pn!  Tomorrow I have my session with Jeremy at 9 and then once again I will be watching Sophia for Nikki and Matt so my blog will be up probably in the afternoon at some point.

And once again it was weigh in day and I was really hoping for some good numbers.  Unfortunately, I stepped on the scale only to find that I have only lost 1 lb this past week making my total weight loss of 22lbs.  I seem to be stuck in a rut at the moment but, I'm sure I will be able to figure out what I'm doing wrong soon.  Anyways, have a great day everyone and happy reading!  :)

Day 82

After forgetting to do my stretches last night, I woke up this morning refreshed, even though I really didn't get enough sleep.  Seems to be happening a lot lately.  I think it's time to start staying home and not having company so late ha ha ha.  However, I did get up at 7 this morning and checked my phone to make sure Nikki was ready to go to the gym.  She sure was, so I got ready and left at 8am and headed to Timmmie's once again to have breakfast and coffee before our workout.

We wound up going on the treadmills once again.  I started off at a 2.4 speed and a 2.5 incline and then upped the incline after 15 min to a 4.5.  We talked for the first 30 min and then I read my ereader for a little bit and upped my speed to a 2.8 and reduced the incline to a 2.5.  I stayed there for the next 20 min and then for the last 5 min upped the speed to a 2.9 and increased the incline to a 4.5 again.  By the time we were done, we were both satisfied and very surprised to find that it was already 11am.

Now that I have been home from work for about an hour and a half, I am finding that my back is really sore, I'm tired and thinking that I'm gonna have to call it an early night.  I am just not up to anything today and since I want to be at the gym for 7 tomorrow morning, I should probably get a good sleep in.  Since I was able to do my 2 hours of "homework" cardio yesterday and today, tomorrow I am hoping to do quite a bite of strength exercises.  If my back allows me to I will.  Tonight I am going to do my stretches for sure and I am also going to do at least 30 ab crunches maybe more.

For lunch today, Shawn was nice enough to go to subway for me and pick up my supper so I had a 6 inch 9 grain wheat bun with turkey breast and loaded with veggies.  It was very good and stayed with me for the remainder of my shift until I got home.  By then I wasn't really too hungry but I made supper anyways.  I had turkey chicken sausages, quinios, and fresh cook beans and now I'm sititng here pretty content.  That's all I have to say for today, hopefully the gym will go well in the morning and I will have loads to share as it is weigh in day! :)
