I am in a pretty amazing mood right now! Had a pretty darn good day at work, had an awesome 45 min chat with Jeremy at the gym before my workout, and then had a perfectly awesome workout! I could not have asked for a more perfect day.
Let`s start at the start. I was awake at 5:30 this morning and ready to head out the door by 6:55am. Jan didn`t come to work today so it was just me and considering that Merv (Jan`s brother) had Jan`s car, he was giving me a ride to the LRT this morning. I got on the LRT and was starting to get ready to listen to my music, and on came one of our neighbors. I put the ipod away and him and I chatted the whole way to Churchill. I almost missed my stop because the conversation was so good lol.
At work, we learned about a few more billing things, and then carried on to go on the phones in the afternoon. I had 5 calls in total and the first 4 were quick easy ones, and then my last call wound up lasting 25 min. By the time I ended the call with the customer, I was feeling pretty sorry for him. I can't go into detail because it is a breach of privacy but, it was sad. Anyways, I left work at 3:45 after talking with Sara for a few min on my way out the door and then headed home to meet up with Merv at the LRT again.
I went with him to go and pick up his car, drove home myself with a pitstop to Timmie's (mmmm.....Timmie's....) and as I walked through the door, Jan was making supper. I went upstairs, changed into my workout attire, and by 7 I was on my way to the gym. Oh have I missed the gym! I am pretty sure Jeremy had missed me as well considering the fact that I walked in, and instead of going into the front area of the building, he saw me, turned around and came upstairs with me. I asked him if he was going to his desk and if he wanted company for a few min and he said, of course!
We sat and chitchatted like I said for about 45 min and then I looked at my phone and realized that I should probably get my workout started. He told me to have a good,. hard workout and we went our own seperate ways. We also managed to finally set up the two last sessions, 1 of them being on April 9. I am a little anxious because I have missed training with him terribly!
I was feeling pretty good in the knee today, I had a couple times where I thought that maybe I shouldn't go to the gym because there are certain ways that I will step down on the leg and it triggers a little bit of discomfort in the knee. It's almost like I feel like I'm going to fall. But, I headed into the ladies only room because I was extremely anxious to get on that eliptical and see what I would be capable of doing.
I started off at the lowest tension possible for a min and then at 2 min, increased it to a level 2. I carried on until the 5 min mark and brought it up to a 3. I carried on for another 2 min and went up once more. At the 20 min mark I had made my way up to a level 5 and thought, ok, I'm doing fine. No pain yet. So, I brought it up one last time to a level 6 and left it there for the remainder of my 30 min. I wound up burning my 300 calorie total which was pretty good and I would have been able to go longer but as I spent so much time chatting instead of working out, I figured that I should probably head home.
I am still feeling pretty good, my back is really sore as I have not done stretches at all for the last 4 days, but, I do plan to get them finished before I head off to bed. I am really hoping that I will be able to get a workout in tomorrow after dinner but, there are no guarantees there as I still need to do a little bit of shopping tomorrow evening and pick some things up. Saturday however, will be another story. I do plan to do another 2 hour workout, and I hope my body is ready for it because I will be doing strength and cardio as well. I will have to see how it goes. :)

Day 244
Today was an interesting day from the get go, until I got off of work that is. I wound up being late this morning getting out the door, and because I was trying to hurry and get to the car before Jan was late, I wound up slipping on the ice on the side of the house, not once, but twice. I didn't fall, and as I kept on with the rest of the day, my knee started to feel progressively worse. I couldn't figure out why it was so sore until I started to come in from the lunch break and I realized then that, maybe, the reason why my knee was so sore was because of the slip this morning.
So, at work, we wound up being able to take a few calls in the afternoon, and we also each had a practise call this morning in class. It was quite interesting and I did well, and felt almost excited to get on the phones next week. When I got off, I met Jan at the LRT, came home, and changed into my gym clothes right away. I thought maybe I could at least do something with low intensity like the bike and that it would be ok.
I was wrong! It was all fine for about a half an hour and then my knee got to the point that I didn't know if I was actually going to be able to walk. I pushed myself on to the 45 min mark and had no choice but to get going. Holy dinah was I ever in pain. I should have just stayed home and stayed off of my feet today. However, I wound up doing 182 calories, and I did get to chat with Jeremy for a bit today as well as Francois.
When I got to the gym, Jeremy was at his desk and so I hobbled over and asked him if the bike would irritate my knee much. He said as long as I didn't do a high intensity and try not to go too fast, that it should be ok. He then asked me if I wanted to do a session this weekend and I told him that I would let him know what I had planned this weekend and let him know.
As I was leaving, he was standing at the front desk and we talked again for a few min. I asked him when he wanted me to come in on Saturday and then he realized that he had a family thing to go to and that he wouldn't be able to. I told him that it was fine and that depending on how it goes for the rest of the week with my knee, I may not be back to the gym. He then told me that I could still do upper body stuff if I wanted to and to take the dumbells and dance with them here at home. We both started laughing and then he said that I should just come home and take it easy for a couple days.
I also talked to him about more sessions. I notified him that I was thinking about purchasing some more sessions and asked him if he would like to continue on with me. He said that of course he would and that he just didn't want to put me in a financial burden. I assured him that it was fine, that I would be ok and that my main concern was that I get the weight off and that I would make sure to let him know when I would be able to purchase them.
Some people would ask why? Why would you buy more sessions when you can do it on your own? The answer is, I thoroughly enjoy going to the sessions, I have alot of fun, and even though I can do it on my own, and have proved it to myself, I really enjoy having that person there pushing me and motivating me to keep going. We also have alot of fun in the sessions. We fight like a married couple and wind up making everyone else around us laugh at us. It's mainly just because it is fun. No other reason for it.
So anyways, now that I have made it home, and had supper, I am really upset at myself for going to the gym and pushing myself to the point of not being able to go to the gym for a few days. I don't know how it is going to be in the morning but, I am really hoping that I am able to walk. I do not, want to miss a day of work because of my own stupidity.
I will not be doing stretches tonight, as the stretches that I have require me to use my knees and since it hurts too much, I guess tonight I will have to rest entirely. Looks like I will be maintaining the upper body for the week, and very carefully watching what I eat. Sucks to be me! LOL
At least I am getting in higher spirits :)

Day 243 - Weigh in
It is a rambling day today. I am so very excited to share my weigh in and I am also having quite a few mixed feelings today as well. I was awake at 7am today and even though I had a really messed up sleep (thanks to Jeremy) I still felt pretty refreshed and anxious to get downstairs and get my weigh in done.
So, I got up, came downstairs and turned on the wii for my weigh in. With all of my hard work this week, most people know that I was aiming for a 5 lb weight loss. I wound up weighing in at 198lb. I lost 2 lbs this week! YAY! I am pretty sure that next week will be pretty good as well because I know that it usually takes a day or two to have results and yesterday I burned roughly 725 calories and it was no easy task. So, I will try and continue to get the gym every day this week again and get an hour at least in each and every time. And then on Saturday, do another 2 hour workout.
Even though I am doing fairly well with my journey, I am still feeling pretty strange, I guess the word would be. I am not sad, or confused anymore, but, I am feeling a little on the neutral side. I am neither upset nor ecstatic. I am very happy and extremely proud of myself for keeping it up and sticking with it. Even though I am putting myself through the pain, I figure that it is well worth it in the end.
A few weeks ago, I had purchased a pair of pants from Costco, they are a size 16 and I thought that was what I was in but, apparently I was still in between the 18 and 16. So, this morning, I decided to try on that pair of pants to see if I could get them done up, or even at least up past my big butt. LOL
I was able to get them on and do them up! This was really exciting because I know that I have lost the inches as well as the lbs! Even though I was able to get them done up, they are still not really at the point where I can actually wear them, so I am stuck in the 18s for now. I will be asking Jeremy probably next week if we could do the measurements so that I can see how much I have lost since the last measurements.
As I said yesterday, I have a few plans in the making at the moment to change my life even more than it has changed right now. On my next pay, I plan to buy a few clothes in the size 14 range and also 16's. This way, when I am in the 16s, I can comfortably wear them when I get there. I am starting to like this whole clothes shopping experience! :)
Today I am working at Esso. I have decided that working 6 days a week, working out 5 or 6 days a week, and trying to get everything I need done crammed into one day off is not working. So, as of this evening, I will be putting in my two weeks notice. I know that if I ever need to go back, that I will be able to, but my workload is way to deep right now and the most important thing in my life that is on my list right now is to get this weight off of me. The more opportunity that I have to do this, the better.
I also plan to start doing a few things from the book that I have read in the last couple of days. I want to be a better person, and I know that I am getting there, but I also want to have a more positive outlook on life and not let the small things bother me so much. A new and improved me, and that is what this journey is all about. I want to have the good life for a change, and the only person that is able to deliver the good life to me, is me!

Day 242
So far the day has been pretty productive. I was awake at 7am, had a bowl of special K with a sliced banana in it for breakfast, had my shower and was at the gym for 10:15am. Before I left I received a call from my aunt asking if I wanted to hang out with her today for awhile. She wanted to go look at a couple of stores and check some stuff out and then we went out for lunch to Fife n Dekel's. I had the egg salad sandwich special with a ceasar salad and an orange juice and then afterwards we went to some home furnishings store and then to a clothing store called Laura's. I looked around at some of the clothes and even though it was pretty expensive (compared to what I normally would pay) I saw myself spending quite a bit of money in there if I had it. It just may be my new favorite store! :)
I am getting ahead of myself here. Before I went out with aunty, wound up going to the gym. Ya, that's it, that's where I was supposed to be headed in this blog. Clothing tends to get me off on a rambling rampage lately because I am so excited to finally be able to buy clothes that are smaller. Anyways, when I got to the gym, I thought it was pretty busy, but as I made my way upstairs to the ladies only room, there were only 3 other girls there and none of them were using the actual machines. So, I decided to start off on the eliptical once again and for each minute, I increased the tension until I reached a level 10 and then brought it back down to a level 6. When I hit the 15 min mark, I decided to bump it up to a level 15 and then for each minute I lowered it by a level each time. I stopped at 30 min and wound up burning 320 calories.
I tried to incorporate a few strength exercises into the workout. I sat on the bench of one of the pieces of equipment, put the weight on to 45lbs and did 12 reps. I rested for a couple min and did it again. I went over to another one that reversed the way that you lifted the weights and I did this 12 times as well. I was experiencing a little bit of discomfort in the back, so, I figured I would get on the treadmill and have a go at that.
I started off at a 4.5 incline and a 3 speed and then my feet started to bother me so I dropped the incline down to a 0. I carried on for a half an hour on there in comfort and again at the 15 min mark I started to increase the speed just a little bit each minute. I wound up getting up to a 3.6 speed on the 0 incline and in total I burned an additional 118 calories.
After I got home from looking around with aunty, I did a few stretches. I did the 2 different railing stretches that I was taught, and then I got the yoga mat out and did the cross body stretch, the one with my arms above my head with my feet pointed the other way and the hamstring stretch. I did 15 ab crunches at this point and rolled up the mat. I wanted to head back to the gym for a little bit longer. So away I went.
On my return trip to the gym I did 12 trunk rotations, with the 17.5 lb weights on each side, 55 lb weight lifts on the machine that I pull the handles from the side in front of me 10 times, and then reversed it and did it 10 more times the other way and then made my way over to the bikes. I started off on a level 1 and after 1 min I increased the level to a 14 for a min. I then went back down to a 1 for a min and then back up to a 13. I kept alternating this way until I hit 25 min and then I put the level to a 5 and left it there for another 10 min. Altogether I wound up burning another 207 calories on there and called it quits. I am now satisfied with my workout today, I am very sore because I have worked muscles that haven't been worked hard for awhile and I am so glad that tomorrow is a rest day.
I have been giving some serious thought to visiting the Chiropractic studio within the gym as well within the last week or so. As my back has been getting progressively worse, and that I have been told that it can help, from many people, I think that I will soon have to make the choice. Maybe it will help me out, and I am hoping so.
Tomorrow is weigh in day, and I am anxious to see how my hard work has paid off this week. I have also been trying pretty hard to keep more of an open mind in the way of positiveness. I have purchased the book that Jeremy has suggested to me, and I have almost finished reading it. It is called The Secret and it gives you some exercises to daily to help you on that path of becoming more positive and in return, your life gets easier. It's very interesting to read and I haven't been able to put it down. I keep wanting to carry on and finish it off and I am hoping that I will be able to finish it by tomorrow night so that I can start using some of those exercises come Monday.
To finish off this very long blog of the day, I just want to say that the plans that I have in my head for the future and the plans that I have to change my life and attitude will be in full swing pretty soon and I am very excited to see what it will bring me. :)

Day 241
I am not so sure about this weigh in on Sunday. I am pretty sure that I am going to be ok for weight lost, I don't think that it will be 5 lbs, but, I am thinking it may be around 2 or 3. I have been working pretty hard this week, going to the gym every day and if not, still doing the workouts at home. Not only that, but the eating has been pretty good also. Yes, I have been eating more at work, but at the same time, it's been more healthy stuff than anything. I have been trying to eat more fruits, more veggies during the day and I have also been trying to watch the quantity of the food that I have been consuming as well.
I feel that today was a pretty good day, considering the fact that I am still in so much pain in both the feet and the back, shoulders and legs, I still managed to get myself over to the gym for a fantastic workout! I wound up getting to the gym at about 4:45pm and when I changed my shoes, I knew exactly where I was gonna go. I headed over tot he ladies only room and jumped on the eliptical. I didn't really do much in the way of tension because I was pretty sore, so I stayed on a level 1 and went for 40 min. I burned 320 calories and decided to head over to the bike and try another half hour on there. Here I decided to change things up a little bit.
I did 3 min on a level 1 and then bumped it up to a level 6. I carried on for another 5 min and then slowly increased the level until I got to a level 10 every minute. I then put it back down to a level 1 and then slowly increased it once more until I got to a level 6. In total, I wound up burning an additional 137 calories. I figured that since my hour was up and that I did so well, all week in fact, that I should probably come home and have some relax time.
Once I got home, I made supper for Jan and I. I made fish in egg and bread crumbs, and some mixed veggies. It was so amazingly good! I completely love fish, and that is not even an exageration. After supper, I did my stretches, nothing more, I figured I would take it a little easier tonight because I have huge plans for tomorrow.
I had been doing some thinking earlier in the week about how I was going to lose this 5 lbs. I figured that considering the fact that I have been working at it pretty hard this week, maybe I could try to do kind of my own "last chance workout" like the biggest loser. I am hoping to get to bed early tonight, and be at the gym for 8 tomorrow morning. I plan on doing 30 min on the treadmill, 30 min on the eliptical and 30 min on the bike. In between each, I am going to incorporate some strength training in there with some trunk rotations, seated rows, and a few others as well. I am pretty sure that once I finally get home, I will probably have to do the stretching 2 or 3 times during the day. In which case, I will also try to get some ab crunches, upper and lower, the plank and maybe some pushups in there as well.
I know it sounds like a lot, and I am pretty sure it will be alot, but, if it works the way I want it to, then there is no reason why I can't take it easier on myself for the week and push it to the max once a week. If I am in so much pain that I can't move on Sunday, then I think we have a problem and I may have to seek phsycological help to discuss my mental way of thinking lol.

Day 240
This morning I did not want to get up to go to work. I am still kind of sore from the other day's workout and my back has been bothering me quite a bit since, even though I am doing my stretches every night. Considering the fact that it has been snowing most of the day, I decided that it wouldn't be a good idea to go to the gym. I just wanted to come home, change into my pj's and curl up in my chair with my blanket, cat and a good book.
I managed to do just that before supper and then I went upstairs, grabbed the laundry basket and carried on to the basement to get the laundry done. While down there, I did 10 lunges on each leg, grabbed the 5 lbs dumbells and did 24 squats while touching one to the floor and while standing raise it above my head. I did this with each arm and then did 12 side arm lifts, 12 bicep curls, and then carried on to do 12 more squats bringing the dumbells in front of me in each arm. I came upstairs and started my baking.
As the washer finished in the basement, I went back downstairs and repeated this whole process and then came upstairs to pull out the yoga mat. I started off with stretching the legs a little bit, laid down on the mat and reached with my arms and pointed with my toes and then did 25 ab crunches. I did the cross body twist to the right and repeated the ab crunches. Repeated the other side and again, ab crunches. I did the one stretch that I put the right ankle on the left knee and pulled it towards me and then repeated the other side. One last trip to the basement to get the clothes and a repeat session with the weights and I called it a day.
Even though I didn't get to the gym, I still had a pretty decent workout at home and I am sure that I will probably be a hurting unit tomorrow but, it's no biggie because, I know that I will be able to rest on Sunday! :)
Tomorrow I am hoping if it is not snowing again, to go to the gym right after work. If it is, then I will be dropping Jan off at home and carrying on to the gym before supper for my cardio workout. Sounds good to me!

Day 239
Again, I hmm'ed and haw'ed about wether or not I was going to the gym today. Yesterdays workout was pretty effective and I was quite tender by the end of the day. I decided that I would come home and have supper first before attempting the gym. Once I had settled down and actually relaxed for a bit, I thought, no, I don't want to go. I am just too sore and I don't feel like it. I sat for another 15 min and then got thinking about wanting so badly to lose 5 lbs this week and went into the bathroom and thought, ok, I'm going. I am not going to acheive this goal if I don't do it. So, I changed my clothes, grabbed the keys from Jan, and away I went.
I got to the gym at about 10 to 7 and headed upstairs. Jeremy was just finishing up with another trainer while I filled my water bottle so I went over to his desk and talked with him for a few min. I then went into the ladies only room and got on the eliptical. I figured that I wanted the best calorie burn in a half hour that I could manage and that was the best way to go.
I wound up burning 200 calories in 20 min, and for my last 10 min, I got on the treadmill and burned another 71 calories. It wasn't that bad for a half hour workout. I have still been pretty good with doing the stairs at the LRT stations so I am quite happy with what I did today.
A few months ago, in one of my sessions with Jeremy, he had me do a grateful list and a list of things that I love. He then told me to buy this book called The Secret and read it. I have since looked for it and found it in hardcover in the store with a DVD for $30. So I figured that I would take a look on the kindle tonight and see if I could find it. I did, and it was only $14.50 so I bought it and started reading it tonight. I informed Jeremy of this tonight and he was fairly excited that I had actually bought it and told me to let him know what I thought. The first couple of chapters are so far pretty interesting and I think that it will help me alot in changing alot in the way of my thoughts and the way that I perceive things. As of Sunday, I will be starting to do the exercises in the book, for now, my main concern is just reading it and seeing what kinds of things I will be asked to do.
Tomorrow after work, I will be heading to the gym straight away as I find that I don't have alot of time in the evenings for anything else once I get back from the gym and not to mention the fact that I don't feel like doing anything either and therefore have no desire to do it. I have to force myself to get up and go. It will be a take it easy kind of day, maybe, and probably I will be doing a few strength exercises and the bike for a bit. I don't think the eliptical is on the agenda for tomorrow as I am starting to really enjoy it but, I have read somewhere that it is good to try and switch things up a little bit to get your body challenged and keeping it guessing what you are going to be doing next.
Now, it is time for me to do my stretches, and only my stretches and then it is off to bed for me. It is quite late and 5 am comes way too soon when I am up late. :)

Day 238
Today has so far proven to be a pretty good day. I got a little frustrated at work, because I couldn't figure out some of the required tasks that we were supposed to do. However, I went on to do it with the help of one of the other girls and made it through. Towards the end of the day, I was thinking that I really didn't want to go to the gym and when I told my friend Jessica, she told me that she was stepping in and told me I had to go. So, being the good girl that I am, I went.
I wanted to do a little bit of a change this time around and incorporate strength training with my cardio. So to start off with, I went to the ladies only room, saw that both elipticals were full, and started on the strength training right away. I went to one of the pieces of equipment that has a dual purpose and I don't know what the actual exercises are called so I will have to describe them.
Sitting on a little bench facing away from the equipment, I grabbed the handles on the side with my arms extended out to the side and pulled them in front of me 12 times lifting 55 lb weights. I then turned around and facing towards it, changed the setting and from in front of me, took the handles and pulled the weights out to the side 12 times as well. I then went to another piece of equipment, sat down and grabbed the handles in front of me and pulled the 55 lb weights towards me 12 times. I repeated this little circuit that I had made and went to the treadmill.
I started off on the treadmill on a 2.5 speed and 4.5 incline and at 7 min, increased the incline to a 6 and carried on to finish at 15 min. I burned 100 calories here and moved over to the eliptical as one of the other girls was finishing on there. I did this for a 15 min stretch, burning 150 calories and then made my way out to the main area because the treadmills in the ladies only room were now being used. I repeated the same intensity and incline as I did previously and burned another 100 calories. I figured that it was enough to do for now, and called Jan to see if she would come and get me and then came home.
When we finished supper, I went downstairs and did 20 squats with the 5 lb dumbells in each hand and lifted my arms in front of me while in the squat position. It felt really good and throughout the course of the evening, I am going to do at least 3 more reps of this. As tonight is the Biggest Loser, I will be doing some walking lunges in the commercial break at least 3 times and also do the stairs as well at least 3 times. I also plan to get my stretches done, as well as 100 upper ab crunches and at least 50 lower ab crunches. Yesterday when I held the plank I was able to hold it for 40 seconds so this time around I hope to be able to hold it a little bit longer. As my back is fairly sore from the weight lifting, I am not sure how that is going to work, but I am sure going to try. I am hoping to get at least 10 pushups, from my toes done as well.
I am not sure if this will over work me, but, I am sure going to try. I would really like to be able to lose 5 lbs this week and although I am not sure if my body can handle it, I am going to work hard to get it done. So that is it for this blog, tomorrow I was thinking of not going to the gym, but, I won't be able to lose 5 lbs if I miss a day so I will be going. :)

Day 237
I am starting off this blog in a negative note, but I promise that it will end in a positive one. I woke up this morning extremely tired after working last night at Esso and not able to fall asleep until around 2am. My alarm went off at 5 and when I got up at 5:30 I can honestly say that I really did not feel well, or happy, or anything at all.
By the time I left work, I really did not want to go to the gym. My stomach was really sore, pretty much all day, and I felt almost ill. I think it may be going around because there are a few people in the class that have been feeling ill as well.
Once I got finished with work, I made my way to the LRT and ran into Shawn, (Jan's nephew). We rode the LRT together to Clareview, said our goodbyes and I headed towards the gym stopping at the Esso before I went in. I had forgotten my water bottle in the dishwasher this morning and needed to get water so I got that, and was on my way. I was still not feeling good, and my stomach was extremely sore at this point and I wasn't sure if I was going to make it. But, I got it in my mind that I was already there, and there was no going back, so I went into the gym, changed my clothes, and headed upstairs to the ladies only room hoping to land myself onto the eliptical. I was in luck, there was one open.
I started off nice and quick on a level one, and wound up increasing the level every 2 min until I hit the fifteen min mark. At this point I was up to a level 7 and wound up making it to a level 10. In my 30 min on that eliptical I beat my record and burned 314 calories!! How exciting! I wasn't quite sure if I was ready to go yet, so I made my way over to the treadmill thinking that maybe if I just take it easy again on there, that everything would just work out fine.
I started off on a 2.4 speed, and a 4.5 incline and about 5 min in, my stomach started to act up again. I decided that if I just push through it, I could maybe finish my full hour. I increased the incline at 5 min to a 6 and then at the 10 min mark, increased it to a 9. I went for another 10 min at the 9 incline and then slowly dropped the speed down. I burned another 211 calories on the treadmill at the end of the 30 min mark which is great, but I was feeling so terribly at the end that I didn't think that pushing myself was worth the hell I put myself through.
I got home at 6:15 and had my supper thinking that food might have something to do with why I was feeling so bad, but it doesn't seem to be helping me. I am thinking that a good night's sleep is in order and hopefully that will be enough to make me feel better. I do plan on doing my stretches tonight, I am goign to try and get all of them done every day, and also go to the gym every day as well to maybe have a good weigh in this week. I want to get under that 200lb mark again, and this time, go quite a few under. So the plank is going to be attempted and some ab crunches as well, lower and upper. I won't be doing as many as I normally do, but at least an attempt is there. I am glad that I went into the gym before I came home to have supper. And I will be doing the same within the week as well to see if maybe I can change my routine up just a little and manage to get on a regular sleeping pattern.
As I said, I will be ending this on a positive note, I am proud of the determination today, and I am proud of the fact that I did not give up. Hopefully tomorrow will be alot better and more intensity, as I really do want to get as much as I possibly can in this week and maybe get 4lbs off of me with a little bit more hard work. :)

Day 236 - Weigh in
I am feeling a little discouraged today. I have been not so motivated in the last couple of weeks as I have been in this whole process and I am unsure as to why. I really am hoping that I will be able to get it together pretty soon here and get some amazing results within the next couple of weeks. I think part of the problem is that I am having a really hard time balancing work and workout. Although I was working beforehand, I think it is because when I do go to the gym in the evenings after work, it is so busy in the gym that I feel a little intimidated by the amount of people are in there and I don't feel comfortable enough in my own skin to be around that many people. Usually I don't care, if I have a session going on because I am focussed more on the session than I am on the people around me. I am not sure how to go about getting past this and I am hoping that maybe someone can help me out in regards to getting out of my comfort zone a little bit.
Friday was payday for me, the first one from Epcor, and it was really exciting to see the amount of money I can make in a week in a career that I thought wasn't for me. I have since changed my feelings on the whole aspect of the call centre setting. I feel that I am going to excel in the job and move up and maybe branch out within the company. I am feeling much more confident that I will do well and I am very excited to see what it will bring in the future.
I was going to go to hit the gym after work but, once it was all said and done, I just didn't feel up to it. I decided to go with Jan to her appointment in Fort Saskatchewan and then when we got home, I headed out to Beaumont to a ladies night/family reunion planning with some of the women of the family. We accomplished a fair bit, and I was really glad to have gone. I am fairly interested to see how everything is going to play out come family reunion time.
Yesterday, Jan and I headed out to the farmer's market to pick up some bread from the bread guy. I really enjoy his bread because it is smaller pieces of bread, with more calories, but, it's all natural ingredients and therefore very healthy for you. Once we finished there, we went shopping. I needed to pick up some new pants for work because I only had 3 pairs that I was able to wear and when you work 5 days a week, it's kind of hard to switch up the outfits. So I bought 2 more pairs of pants, a new top, and 2 cami's to bring up my wardrobe just a little bit.
Jan had plans for the evening so she dropped me off at home and I then went upstairs to my room, and started sorting through my clothes and getting my laundry ready. I wound up getting rid of some more clothes because they are slightly too big for me and do not look good at all. I got that all under control and headed back downstairs to start supper. I had pulled out some chicken breasts and was going to do them in the oven with some mushroom soup but, we didn't have the soup. I checked out the shelves downstairs and there was a bottle of alfredo sauce. I was a little unsure how it was going to work with the chicken, however, I used it anyways and wound up sprinkling a bunch of mushrooms in the sauce as well. I made steamed carrots and a sweet potato and settled down to eat. It was fantastic! I was really impressed that I was able to come up with something like that, considering the cooking experience that I have.
This morning I was awake at 9am and I immediately came downstairs to do my weigh in. I was not looking forward to it because of the fact that I have basically missed 4 days within the last week of cardio and also the fact that I did eat out 2 times as well. No, it was definitely not healthy choices either, but, I don't do it often so I figured I would be ok. Anyways, I got on the scale and even though I was a little skeptical, it really wasn't that bad. I gained 1lb, bringing my weight back up to 200lbs, a total weight loss of 64lbs. It is ok though, for the bad choices that I made last week, I could have gone up quite a bit.
I have decided today that I am not going to the gym. I have done my stretches, and I also held the plank for 32.75 seconds. My thought is that for the next week, no elevators, and no escalators and then hit the gym right after work every day. This way, I am getting a little bit of cardio in, in the mornings and also getting my workout in the evening as well. I just have to make myself get back into a different but effective routine again. That and watch my portioning more carefully and monitor calorie intake as well.
So that is it for this weeks blog. I know it's a long one, and I am surprised that I did have so much to say. I have decided that I will continue to post the blogs, per normal, because the way that my memory works, it's not a very good scenario.

Day 233
Blog time, another favorite time of day other than quitting time from work. :)
This morning I was again up early and ready to go to work by the 6:50am. My feet are a bit sore from the workout yesterday and I was hoping to be able to get some kind of a strength workout in but, unfortunately with the plan that Jeremy and I devised, it requires doing walking lunges all the way across the gym 4 times. I'm now thinking that maybe I am going to have to change that up a little bit.
Anyways, I made it through work, smooth sailing there, and then when I got off, went with Jan to Fort Sask so that she could make it to her massage appointment. I dropped her off and headed over to walnart to pick up a few things. I made my way back over to pick Jan up and then we came home and had subway for supper. By this time it was 6:15pm and I figured I should probably get to the gym.
I was there by 7 and made my way upstairs. I filled up my water bottle and decided that today, with my feet being so sore, I should probably take it easy from the treadmill for a few days again. So I went into the ladies only room and got on the eliptical. I wound up going for about 20 min burning 181 calories and then called it quits to get on the bike for a bit. I burned 108 calories in another 20 min and called it a day. I find that it keeps getting harder and harder to go into the gym and stay there for a complete hour. I sometimes feel like I am spending all of my time either working or working out and I don't have much time for myself lately. I am feeling a little bit overwhelmed.
But, I am going to try to the best of my ability and I am going to keep trying. Tonight I am going to do my stretches before bed and hopefully do at least some ab crunches. That way at least I have still done some kind of toning for the day.

Day 232
After only managing about 4 hours of sleep I am quite surprised at how well I did today. Last night before I went to bed, I spent an hour and a half getting the stretching done, and I did 60 ab crunches, the plank, 40 lower ab crunches, and managed to do about 5 pushups ( not very good mind you) from my toes. I called it a night and headed off to bed, where I was able to do nothing but toss and turn for the evening.
I was awake at 5:30am, crawled out of bed by 5:45am, and was ready to head out the door for 6:50am with Jan to go and catch the LRT. I did pretty good for lunch today, I packed some leftovers from supper last night, and then took a 1/2 a cup of peaches and 1 cup of peas for my snacks. After work, I walked over to the gym and decided that if I was going to do it, I better get it done.
I headed upstairs and got on the eliptical in the ladies only room. I put it on a level 8 and away I went for 4 min. Once the 4 min mark hit, I was starting to become tired already and decided that maybe I should ease up the tension a little bit and take it easier. So I decreased the level to a 2 for about 5 min and then brought it back up to a 6 for another 10 min. I lowered it once again to a 2 and then at the 26 min mark put it back up to an 8. I wound up burning 291 calories in that half an hour.
From there, I didn't quite feel like I was ready to go yet, so I made my way out to the main area and got on the treadmill. I felt good but didn't really want to push it too hard as I had just pushed hard on the eliptical and just wanted to relax a little. So I put the the incline on a 2.5, speed up to a 2.5 and away I went. At 5 min I increased the incline to a 4.5 and then at 15 min I increased it again to a 6.5 and left it there until I hit the 28 min mark. From there I increased the incline one more time to a 9 and then hit the cool down button. At the end of my 35 min on the treadmill I had burned another 223 calories. Once I got off of the treadmill I knew I was finished, considering the 514 calorie burn.
I went downstairs and changed my shoes and then made my way over across the parking lot to the Tim Horton's where I sat for about an hour and a half. I am still unsure as to wether or not I should have done that as my feet are completely burning and my back is extremely sore. I have yet to do my stretches tonight, I'm still not sure if I am going to do all the extras but, at least the stretching and the cardio will be complete. Tomorrow I will be going to the gym again after work as Jan will have an appointment to go to after work and I really don't want to be sitting around there doing nothing when I can do something productive. I hope that tomorrow will be as good as it was today. I am heading to bed early tonight as I am still very tired and maybe tonight I can have a decent sleep.

Day 231
Alright, so yesterday didn't quite work out as planned. My day was extremely long, my brain hurt from all the thinking I had to do, and I just didn't want to be at the gym. I did go, but I only went for 15 min and then came home. I did the treadmill for the whole time, never going under a 3 speed and then just couldn't do it anymore. I hit the stop button and away I went burning 110 calories. Today was a little better. I still had quite a bit of information crammed into my head today but, I figured that I could do at least a half hour workout for a bit to help myself out. I was hoping to get some time in on the eliptical tonight and that was part of the reason why I didn't stay my full hour as I had hoped. Not to mention the fact that I kept running into people to talk to, so that took up some time as well lol.
I got on the treadmill after talking to someone I knew for 15 min and put my speed up to a 2.8 and a 2.5 incline. After 5 min I increased the incline to a 4.5 and then at the 10 min mark, increased the speed to a 3 and the incline up to a 6.5. I finished off at 35 min for a total calorie burn of 251 and got my stuff gathered up and ready to go. It wasn't really all that bad but I knew that I still had to stop at the grocery store and also come home to prepare my lunch for tomorrow and also get my bag ready for after work.
I have full intentions of going to the gym after work tomorrow as soon as the LRT reaches the clareview station so hopefully when I get there the eliptical will be free and also then I am free to do part of my strength workout as well. And then when I get home I can do my stretches after supper and be good to go :)
Tonight I am doing my stretching before bed, as well as ab crunches and then plank. So all in all, another pretty good day. I am sure liking the good days!

Day 229 - Weigh in
Even though today I did absolutely nothing at all in regards to working out, I am still going to do a blog. It's important for me to mark down my feelings and thoughts as I go along this process and remember the successes and failures so that I can see and judge what may or may not need to change.
This weekend was actually a pretty relaxed and chill weekend. I didn't really do much in the way of working out, but at the same time, sometimes a person needs those kinds of days every once in awhile to really reflect on all that they have accomplished and what they still need to conquer in order to get to the final goal that they have in mind.
Yesterday Jan and I had a housework day and since I have moved into this place, my main job has been to vacuum the floors and usually that was all I was able to handle. My back would be so sore about halfway through that I would have to stop for a half an hour and take a rest before doing anything else. Not yesterday though. I spent 4 hours vacuuming the main level of the house and also scrubbing the floors. That is with moving all of the furniture out of the way by myself. I never knew that I would be able to do all of that again. And even though to some, it would seem fairly trivial and not such a big deal but, for me, when I look back 7 months ago and see myself walking around this place with a cane in the evening because I can barely move, now that is huge!
Today I had a family function to go to, so I figured that maybe I would go to the gym in the morning and then head out there for that. But as I was sitting here eating my breakfast, I was thinking, do I really want to go to the gym, after having a shower, get all sweaty and gross and then have to have another shower and get ready to go? Not really. So, I decided just to take the weekend off and relax. I still have plans to do my stretching before I go to bed tonight, so it isn't completely doing nothing and I did do my stretching last night as well. Just the cardio was not completed.
So anyways, this morning I was nervous to get on the scale, but on the other hand very excited. i was hoping to break through that plateau of 200lbs and as I said on my facebook status, I did acheive that goal for this week. I weighed in at 199lbs! I lost 3 lbs last week with a total weight loss of 65lbs since July 11. I am so much happier with the way my life has been transformed. I mean, I've lost this weight, and although I still have some more to go, I will still be continuing on with this journey and maintaining it once I get to the desired goal. Not only have I done that, but I have gotten myself a job that can take me to newer and better heights in my life and live more comfortably, with good benefits, and the freedom to basically do what I want to do without having to worry about the financial part of it. That in itself has helped me to boost up my confidence in myself and make me feel like I am worth it in this life. I still have a ways to go in that aspect, but hey, a start is a start.
I do have a few other goals in mind, they won't be shared until I have completely figured out when they will be acheived or even how to acheive them, but I will be sure to let people know when I can figure it out.
But, for now, this blog must come to an end. I have an early start tomorrow for work, and I want to be well rested and alert for the learning that I will be doing. I will be sure to try and hit the gym by 7 tomorrow so that I can get the blog up by 8:30pm at the latest. It's really hard to get it up sooner when you really don't have alot of time to go to the gym before work or even before supper. But I will sure try to get it together and get a rhythm down soon.

Day 227
Another pretty darn good day! I am so glad it is Friday and that I am off for the weekend. I have a chance to get caught up a little bit in regards to learning more about my job. I was off at 3:30pm again, met Jan at the LRT, came home to relax for a little bit, and then headed off to the gym after supper.
I went upstairs and headed to the ladies only room once again for my new found friend, the eliptical. I started off at a level 6 and started to read my ereader. I looked up and although my legs were feeling a little tender, I figured that at the 4 min mark I wound increase the level to an 8 and carry on some more. I wound up going down to a level 2 at teh 10 min mark for 2 min and then put it back up to a level 8. I continued on with my reading, and at the 20 min mark I wound up experiencing a small pain on the left side of my stomach. So, I slowed down the speed a little bit, and eventually stopped for a second. I decided to try and carry on and by the time I hit my 30 min mark, burning 300 calories again, by the way, the pain had gotten a little bit worse. I am pretty sure it's not much to be worried about. I basically ate supper and started working out right away so I figure that I just didn't give myself enough time to digest my supper before engaging in the physical activity.
I am pretty sure I will be fine come the morning. I am going to be doing a little bit of research before 10, and then I will be doing stretches, the plank and ab crunches before bed.
Last night when I did my stretches, I wound up doing 20 ab crunches in between each stretch, and holding the plank for 38 seconds! A new record! I am going to try and hold it a little longer today, but judging how my back is feeling right at the moment, I probably won't be able to hold it very long.
Anyways, kind of a short one today, I will be posting at some point in the afternoon and then on Sunday I hope to be sharing the best news for weigh in! :)

Day 226
It has been another good day at work, I suppose I am starting to turn into a girly girl finally, which is something that I haven't been since I was in about the 8th or 9th grade. However, I do have to get it together in regards to the meal plans and such because I am not leaving myself enough time to get the lunches made before work. So, I have been trying to get my lunches made the last couple of evenings before I go to bed.
I stayed after work for a few minutes longer today because I am having a hard time following with the rest of the class on the terminology that is being used. It's hard to start a job and learn about that job when you don't really know anything about it. However, I asked one of the trainers today if she could help me find more information in regards to the company and help me to gain a better understanding about our products and services that we offer. It turned out really good, she gave me a few websites to check out and so on my down time from work, and the gym, I will be trying to self educate myself so that I can perform my duties when it is time with the confidence of knowing what I am actually talking about.
I phoned Jan when I got to Clareview and asked her if she would be able to pick me up at 5:30pm from the Esso parking lot across from the gym so that I could go and do a workout before coming home. By the time I actually got there and ready to start my workout it was already 5pm so I really didn't have as effective workout as I had planned. I started off on the treadmill on a 2.8 speed and a 4.5 incline and after 5 min, bumped up the speed to a 3 and then 5 min later still upped it once more to a 3.2. I slowly increased the speed to a 3.5 each min and left it there for another 5 min and then slowly increased the incline until I was doing a 9 and then hit the cool down button. Unfortunately it was time for me to go and put the boots on and head over to Esso to meet Jan.
As I got my coffee, I was thinking that I wasn't really satisfied with my workout so when Jan got there to pick me up, I asked her if she would mind if I went back to the gym a little later to get more of a workout in considering the fact that I had only burned 151 calories in 20 min. She said that was fine and after supper I headed back to the gym.
Once I got upstairs, I headed over towards the treadmills and as I got there I thought, no, I already did that today. Maybe I will see if an eliptical is open in the ladies only room and try that again. As I was walking back over there, I heard my name being called and there was Jeremy in his oilers jersey working out. He asked me how things were going and wanted to know why I needed to speak with him last night. I asked him if he could help me devise a strength workout plan for the weekends so that I can continue to strenthen my body and if he had time I would really appreciate it. So, in between his sets, that's what we did.
From there, I said my goodbyes and headed into the ladies only room to do that eliptical. I was in luck, both machines were available so I hopped on one and got started right away. I started off on a level 4 and started reading my ereader. When I got to the 5 min mark I increased the level to a 5 and then carried on for another 10 min on the 5. For the last 15 min I did a level 6 and when I got off at the 30 min mark I realized, YAY! I burned 300 calories in 30 min! I matched Carmen finally! Maybe tomorrow I will try and go for 320 or even 340. So in total today, I wound up burning 451 calories. :)
Once I got home, I talked to Sara on the phone about the day and now after I am finished writing this blog, I am going to move on and do my stretches before bed. It looks like today is going to be another one of those late nights. Oh well. Good thing it is Friday tomorrow! I have been monitoring my weight a couple of times this week as well and it looks like I may have some good news on Sunday! If everything goes good that is and I don't sabotage anything. Tomorrow I will reveal what I did in regards to the stretching as it is getting late and I should be getting to bed. More tomorrow! :)

Day 225
Today was a pretty good day, I am getting used to the idea of working in a call centre instead of working on my feet for 8 hours a day moving around the whole time. I was awake at 5:30am, had my breakfast by 6am, and was in the shower and ready to go by 7am. Jan wasn't going to work today but, she did give me a ride to the LRT and I was on my way. I have decided that since I won't be able to get my cardio done in the mornings anymore, at least until my training is done, that instead of using the elevator at both of my stops, I will be doing the stairs.
Once my day was complete I came home, did up the dishes for supper and got ready to go to the gym. Once we had supper, I sat here for a little bit and just relaxed on my chair for a few minutes and really didn't feel like going anywhere. I jumped up, went to the bathroom and instead of sitting back down, got my shoes on and proceeded to get ready to leave. I knew that if I didn't do it then, that I wouldn't do it at all.
Once I got to the gym, I headed upstairs and hoped that the eliptical was free in the ladies only room. I filled up my water bottle, went around the corner of the ladies only room, and silently celebrated. There was one free! I jumped on it quickly and started my workout. I started off on a level 2 for 5 min and a slightly slower speed than normal. At the 10 min mark, I raised the level to a level 3 and kept up the pace. I left the level at a 3 for the remainder of the time and I was really hoping to get at least close to Carmen's 300 calorie burn in 30 min. However, at the end of my 30 min, I was at 282 calories burned. I didn't quite make it but, I decided to go until the 300 calorie burn just to see how much time I would have needed in order to do it. I finally stopped at 31:41. Had I been able to go at a slightly higher speed, I may have just reached that goal.
Once I finished on the eliptical, I wiped down my machine and went over to the bike for another 10 min burning an additional 50 calories. So today, my total calorie burn was 350 in 40 min. Hopefully tomorrow I can maybe step up the level a little on that eliptical and keep the speed up a little bit. :)
When I got home, I called Carmen, talked to her for about an hour, and then got the yoga mat out and started my stretches. I decided to change it up a little bit and reverse the order of the stretches so that my back was feeling good by the time I was done and it feels amazing. I started off on my belly and did the cobra stretch, held it for about 30 seconds and then immediately went into the plank. I held that for 23 seconds, which with the way my back is feeling today, it wasn't that bad. I flipped myself over and laying on my back I reached my hands above my head and pointed my toes holding the stretch for 30 seconds. I then did 40 ab crunches and went right into the next stretch.
I pulled my left leg across my body with my right hand and hold for 30 seconds. On to the 40 ab crunches I went and did the other side. I followed with another 40 ab crunches and then took a little bit of a break for about a minute. I then put my right ankle on my left knee and held that for 30 seconds. 40 more ab crunches, and then the other leg. I did my last set of 40 ab crunches and then lifted my arms above my head and pointed my toes. I held it for another 30 seconds and when I got up from the mat today, I actually felt pretty good. It was a great day today, and I look forward to the next few days. Hopefully tomorrow it is a little less busy at the gym so that I am able to do a few more things other than just cardio. I will have to see how it goes. :)

Day 224
The first day on the job today was kind of long and boring to tell you the truth. I was hoping to actually be able to learn something today, and I did, but it was more about other people in the group than it was about the actual job.
We received a welcome gift of a travel mug as we walked through the doors and got our access badges. We had a tour of the building at around 8:30am and then and then at 9:30am we had to fill out a sheet of paper about ourselves and then we randomly would choose one from the pile and share the information about the person you chose to the group. At 9:45am we got our first break and carried on from there. Basically it was just meeting the other people, getting to know them and learning how to log onto the computers. Alot of questions were asked and alot of just sitting listening.
I was off at 3:30pm and so I met Jan at Clareview and away home we came. We had supper and then shortly after, I headed to the gym for my workout. As I am completely exhausted, I didn't stay too long. I did only half an hour on the treadmill not going any lower than a 2.7 speed and 2.5 incline and wound up making it up to 3.4 speed and 9 incline for the last 2 min. I did a cooldown and wound up totalling 181 calories burned. At this point I was really getting tired so I decided that tomorrow I would probably stay for my full hour and decided maybe it was just better to come home.
Jeremy stopped me as I was heading towards the stairs and wanted me to sit and talk to him about my day and what happened the other day. I was very close to quitting this journey because I was feeling really down and wound up turning myself around in the other direction and pulling out of it. Needless to say, I did wind up spending an hour at the gym, but only half an hour was dedicated to the workout.
Since I didn't get much sleep last night, I am heading to bed a little earlier in hopes of being able to sleep good. Tomorrow after work I am heading to the gym before I come home from work so the blog will be up a little earlier. I hope everyone had a fantastic day! :)

Day 223 - Weigh in
Ok so it hasn't been very successful the last couple of days in regards to the workout schedule. However, for the way that I have been feeling in the last couple of days, weigh wasn't that bad today. I'll of course, disclose the results as soon as I finish with the workout for today.
So I was awake at 7:30am thinking that it was Monday and that I had missed my ride to the LRT. I then realized, oh ya, it's Sunday. But by that time, I was already awake with panick and decided to get up. I made my breakfast, pancakes with blueberries in them, jumped in the shower, and headed out the door to go to the gym. As I got there, I realized that there was absolutely no parking! Aww man! Rotten luck for me! So, I turned around and headed back towards home with a stop at the grocery store.
Once I got home, I had my cup of coffee, and went downstairs to start my workout. I was thinking that maybe I would do some step ups and some really good cardio, but when I got down there, I really wasn't in the mood for step ups. So, I popped in the Walk It Out game that I have and started moving. In 45 min I wound up burning 229 calories and stepped 5000 steps. I plugged in the wii fit and started doing my stretches. I thought maybe I would get some step ups in after all and figured I would do the stretching first.
I got the yoga mat out, laid on the floor and reached my hands as far as I could over my head, and pointed my toes. I held it for about 30 seconds and continued on to do 30 ab crunches. I pulled out the 5 lb dumbells and did 20 lifts above my body with them and then grabbed my right leg and pulled it across my body. I held this stretch for about 30 seconds and continued on with 30 more ab crunches and 20 more dumbell lifts. I did the other leg and then followed with the ab crunches once more and the lifts. Once these were done, I tried to do the plank, managed to hold it for 36.53 seconds, which is by far the longest that I have ever been able to hold it and then did 10 pushups and I did the hamstring stretch as well. It was a pretty good workout today. :)
This morning when I got up and stepped up the scale, I was a little concerned because this whole week I had been monitoring my weight, which I should learn by now not to do. However, I thought that maybe it would go up substantially but, I only gained half a pound. So I am now at 202, still making my total weight loss 62 lbs. There are a few contributing factors to not losing much this week which I am thinking that next week, I will be losing a bit. Let's hope I am right! :)
I was supposed to have a session with Jeremy yesterday but, he sent me a text on Friday evening letting me know that he had to cancel. We have not set up another day as of yet because of the fact that I can't do a session during the week unless it's after 7 and I really don't think I want to make my days that long. The only time that I have told him I would accept is Saturdays. So, hopefully next weekend I will be getting a session out of him.
Tomorrow is my first shift at Epcor, and I am now finally getting a little bit excited about it, but I am fairly nervous as well. I will be heading to the gym right after work so once I am finished there and supper is done, the blog should be up pretty soon afterwards.

Day 221
I am really getting tired of this whole situation of not being able to sleep good at night, I had a terrible sleep once again and was awake bright and early at 5am. I crawled out of bed at 5:20am and get the keys to the car from Jan and went over to Esso to get smokes, gas and a coffee. By the time I got home and finished my coffee, it was time to give Jan a ride to work. This time I had to drive her to Jasper Ave or around there anyways, because she had a few extra things to take to work with her this morning and it would have been a little awkward to carry it all on the LRT. So we left here at 6:45am and we were on our way.
Once I got home, I made myself a slice of toast with 2 eggs and a slice of cheese on it and jumped in the shower. I had planned to hit the gym before afternoon and I did manage to get in a little bit earlier. Not much, but I headed out the door by 10:30am and when I finished my coffee at Tim Horton's it was 11:30am. I walked over to the gym and when I got upstairs I headed to the ladies only room. I was hoping to do the eliptical for a little bit.
However, I rounded the corner in there and both elipticals were being used. I went back over to the other side, talked to Francois for a couple minutes and then got on the treadmill. I got the speed up to a 2.5 and because I took my ereader along, before I knew it, 20 min had passed. I jumped off to go to the washroom, and came back for another 40 min. I still wasn't completely satisfied so I thought, well, maybe now one of those elipticals are free.
I headed back over, stopping at the washroom again and they were both still being used. So, I got on the bike, and did that for the next half an hour. I wound up burning in total 504 calories today. Pretty impressive for me, as I usually only burn about 300 a day.
I am not sure what is wrong with me today. I keep feeling a tightness in my chest and I was feeling a little panicked earlier this morning. I think this is why I decided to stay at the gym a little longer today. I am excited to be starting at Epcor, but at the same time I am terrified. It is a completely new experience for me and I am forced to at least dress a little on the girly side. I know to some people it may seem like such a petty thing but for me, I have never been one for the makeup, putting my hair in a "beautiful" nature, and dressing up for a work place. I almost feel like I am losing a part of me which is completely ridiculous, but that's how I feel and it scares me to death. Maybe it is just the fact that I am really nervous about starting in a completely different field than what I am used to. Time will only tell.
I am still very much dedicated to the whole weight loss thing so that is a good thing, and I am really excited for the new things that life is going to be bringing my way in the next year or so in my life. :)
