What a wonderful day it is indeed!!!! I was awake at 5:30 this morning and although I didn't crawl my butt out of bed until 6:30 at least I was still awake. I came downstairs for my first smoke of the day and then lazily went back upstairs to get showered and ready to take Jan to work. I got home and made myself a couple eggs, turkey bacon and 2 pieces of toast for breakfast and then watched a little tv before I finished getting ready for my session.
Of course, Jeremy was late again today by 5 min and I've come to just accept it. No point in telling a man over and over that he's late cause he's just going to do what he wants anyways! LOL
I did the treadmill for 5 min while I waited and when he came to get me I said "Good morning Sunshine, Measurements???" He laughed and said yes, we could do them today. However, you get to read my ramble a little more before I tell you about them! HA HA HA!
Skipping to the last half hour of my session, Jeremy had me do 15 lunges on each leg on the bonsi ball and then he grabbed a mat and I had to do the plank 2 times in a row. He sent me down and up the stairs once and then back to repeat the lunges and planks. From there, he had me stand on top of the bonsi ball and do rowing pulls lifting 55lbs 12 times on each arm and then up and down the stairs twice and back again to repeat 12 times. I then had to do a walking lunge across the gym and then back over to the wall where I had to put this big ball behind my back against the wall and do 15 squats. I got a 30 second break in between somewhere in all of that and had to do the squats again.
It doesn't seem like much, maybe it does, but that's all the stuff we did in half an hour and then I had to do my cool down on the treadmill for 3 min. Anyways, so the results of my measurements are:
Altogether since July 11, I have gone down 3 cm in the neck, 10 cm in the glutes, up 1 cm in the shoulders, down 8 cm in the thighs, down 12 cm in the first abdomen, and down 13 cm in the second abdomen. A total of 45 cm down and 21lbs lost in 2 1/2 months! Crazy!
I am so happy that Nikki is with me on this journey and that things are going so well. We each push each other and accept no excuses. I LOVE IT! Of course all of the support from family and friends is greatly appreciated as well and I love reading the comments, and inspirational messages. It keeps me going! Love you all and can't wait to share the next blog with you!
